SEND 'EM HOME Empty Handed

"Yas, he is my pet poodle and I belong to the Saudi sheikhs, myself."

Bush thinks diplomacy is saying "No". As much as possible. Give praise, shake the hand and then give them absolutely nothing. Poor old Karzai of Afghanistan, our very own puppet, came in desperation to DC hoping to bring home something, anything. He went back with absolutely nothing.

Now it is another puppet's turn: Tony Blair told the British colonials that he was going to strongarm Bush and come home with something. He is going home, empty handed after being manhandled by Bush who is absolutely overjoyed with his diplomatic coup. The open joy on his face when he weaseled out of doing anything contructive means he is anticipating a petting session afterwards with Uncle Dick.
The prime minister travels next week to Moscow, Berlin and Paris to continue his whirlwind campaign to bring leaders of the G-8 group of industrialized nations together on the two issues he has made the centerpiece of Britain's yearlong chairmanship of the club.
The poor G8 are reduced to squealing, "Please stop going down this road of destruction," to the USA which is determined and bound to go down this road.

This helplessness is due to American military power which is why Condi now is warning the Chinese to not build up any military forces at all or else. As we blandish our sword over everyone's head while stubbornly refusing to give even slight co-operation, this reminds me of most humans. When we can get away with something, we do. This is why there are police and laws and courts. To stop chaos.

And the USA killed the UN.

Bush tried to kill the nuclear control agency, too. Bolton is now accused of this:
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Chief, Mohamed el-Baradei said any US taps of his telephone calls would be a violation of his privacy but he had nothing to hide. El-Baradei said in an interview with the al-Arabiya TV that any US intercepts of his telephone calls would not only be a violation of his freedom and privacy, but also a violation of the IAEA's independence. He also said he was not afraid to be eavesdropped because he "has nothing to hide." El-Baradei, an Egyptian diplomat, began to lead the UN nuclear watchdog in 1997.
which, by the way, is 100% illegal as well as undiplomatic. The collapse of the recent nuclear treaty talks was engineered 100% by the USA which wanted to increase nuclear powers for itself while denying it to anyone else. This was sheer insanity and on par with the present course which is my highway or I murder you.

Tony the Poodle was going to get Bush to see reality about Global Warming, too.
A White House official who once led the oil industry's fight against limits on greenhouse gases has repeatedly edited government climate reports in ways that play down links between such emissions and global warming, according to internal documents. In handwritten notes on drafts of several reports issued in 2002 and 2003, the official, Philip A. Cooney, removed or adjusted descriptions of climate research that government scientists and their supervisors, including some senior Bush administration officials, had already approved. In many cases, the changes appeared in the final reports.

The dozens of changes, while sometimes as subtle as the insertion of the phrase "significant and fundamental" before the word "uncertainties," tend to produce an air of doubt about findings that most climate experts say are robust.
Once again, the criminals surrounding Bush doctor documents, change the facts, alter the statistics. They do this with absolutely everything which is why any information put out by any agency in DC is utter crap.

The alterations, lies, forgeries and outright fabrications broiling out of this pool of sharks before the illegal war in Iraq continues unabated. Even when poor poodle Blair tried to get Bush to stop doing this just for one day, he failed.

One thing Blair was certain he would get is the forgiving of loans to African nations in trouble. This really sticks in my craw since America is the number one debtor nation in the world, bar none. But what happens here?
"I'm grateful for your vision, and I'm grateful for your leadership on this important subject," aid to Africa, Bush told Blair at a White House news conference. "We're making historic progress in helping the poorest countries in Africa gain a fresh start and to build a future of greater opportunity and prosperity."

The leaders said they were working together on a plan to eliminate poor countries' debt, and Blair said he was hopeful they'd have a deal in time for the July summit at the Scottish resort Gleneagles. Bush appeared to move toward the British position on a detail that is important to the prime minister, that the money used to cancel debts must not come out of future aid.

The president said the proposal in the works, "by providing additional resources, will preserve the financial integrity of the World Bank and the African Development Bank," which distribute much of the aid.
This "deal" could have happened yesterday but it didn't because they have zero intention of forgiving any loans. Just like the Bush Bankruptcy Law passed this year, the intent is to get blood from stones. The "preserving the financial integrity" junk is code for "sorry, Charlie, you are screwed." This blunt diplomacy might please a little begging poodle but I don't think it fools much of anyone anymore.

There will be no negotiations. The bankers who own our planet have no reason to let anyone off of any hooks. They are already very pissed at how Russia and Argentina slipped the noose around their necks, but only after a significant number of people died prematurely because of hard times. Poo. The bankers aren't interested in bioflesh deals. They want cold, hard cash.
"We're trying to create a framework in which we deal not just with one of the issues to do with Africa, but all of them together," he said. "In a situation where literally thousands of children die from preventable diseases every day, it's our duty to act, and we will."

Speaking to the House of Commons back home Wednesday, Blair said: "We have begun a discussion which I hope will end up with a plan for action at the G8 summit."

"The brutal truth is, without America in a process of dialogue and action in the international community, we are not going to make progress on it," Blair told lawmakers, vowing to continue the dialogue with the White House.
Tony cares about as much about Africa as Paris Hilton cares about stopping for pedestrians at a crosswalk. If his limo hits someone, oh well, best to move on.
Bush said the United States has tripled its aid to the continent, and the traditional measure of a country's aid effort — percentage of gross national product, which shows the United States among the most miserly of the rich nations — was not the right way to measure America's commitment.

Blair echoed much of the language Bush has used in pushing his Millennium Challenge Account program for Africa, which ties aid to good governance.

"It is a two-way commitment," Blair said. "We require the African leadership also to be prepared to make the commitment on governance, against corruption, in favor of democracy, in favor of the rule of law. ... What we're not going to do is waste our countries' money."
Look at American "elections"! Look at the sewage pool of corruption in DC! Look at the waste, the wars, the futile abuse of the USA! Look at the "rule of law", eh, what laws? The Geneva Conventions? Human Rights laws? International Courts?

Yeah. The USA doesn't deserve loans!

So what is going on?

Time to attack China again for not being like the USA (deep in debt, I presume!).
