I Am Fed Up With Blogger Crashing All Over The Place

I am leaving Blogspot.

Blogger has been limping along for quite a while. They promised us, the last big crash, all was well and they had new systems.

Well, these systems failed hugely in the last three days leaving my news service in tatters, fouling up the postings and in general, making life impossible. So I decided to move over to "pay for" service which means I can communicate with someone when something happens. Blogger didn't even have the decency to inform us what was going on when the system crashed this last three times.

I am sorry about forcing regular readers to change URLs and do all the annoying updating but I hope this is the last time this news service has to pack the bags and move. There will be some instability here until I and my progeny rearrange the cyber furniture to fit my particular style and needs so in advance, I'm sorry for any inconvenience or difficulties.

Since this site isn't free like Blogger, I have added a "Tip Jar" for anyone interested in making donations. Everyone on line is looking for this. My overhead is under $25 a month, the time I spend posting and doing art is a whole different subject. My ability to produce swift artwork has vastly improved while posting this news service during the last year. Anyone interested in commissioning cartoons can contact me at emeinel@taconic.net.

I hope this will be a much better blog when I am done. I have some ideas as to how to build it. And any suggestions, criticisms, wittisisms or whateversisms readers want to inflict on me, go right ahead and unload on me!

Pax America Collapses Due To Warmongering

Israel, a violator of nonproliferation, claims the right to unilaterally attack Iran if they do the same thing Israel has done. Japan and America fire off interception missile even as Japan openly mocks China yet again. Russia, under attack by America, strengthens ties with China, America encourages India to expand nuclear weapons stockpiles, America attacks China's human rights records so China returns the favor, pointing out how America is just as bad if not worse.

If the U.N. Security Council is incapable of taking action to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, Israel will have no choice but to defend itself, Israel's defense minister said on Wednesday.

Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz was asked whether Israel was ready to use military action if the Security Council proved unable to act against what Israel and the West believe is a covert Iranian nuclear weapons program.

"My answer to this question is that the state of Israel has the right give all the security that is needed to the people in Israel. We have to defend ourselves," Mofaz told Reuters after a meeting with his German counterpart Franz Josef Jung.

The idea that one has an unilateral right to attack, pre-emptively, anyone who might at some future time, be a possible attacker is the standard the USA has created. This is a recipe for hairtrigger wars which is what the UN was supposed to prevent.

During the Cold War stalemate, at various times, both huge empires in this deadlock used proxy states to poke at each other but whenever it came to direct conflict, one or the other would back down. Today, thanks to Pax Americas, we see everyone threatening everyone else. The rank hypocricy of the present sword rattling is particularily noxious. Americans imagine that being hyper armed with hair trigger nukes is perfectly fine and waving our other weapons in front of other countries' faces is perfectly OK but no one else may do this. We recently threatened China demanding they stop building up their military, for example.

Israel kidnapped a scientist from England who exposed the building of illegal nukes by the Zionists. He is now out of prison but is denied the ability to talk about this stuff with the media not that the media in America is allowing anything Mr. Vanunu says appear here! As usual, Israel can kidnap, assassinate, lie, spy, cheat or openly steal and our rulers shrug it all off. But then, when others do far less, suddenly our rulers are furious and demand justice. Not that they care about justice, it is only another tool to attack yummy targets of their lusts and desires.

China is increasingly angry about the Taiwan issue as well as the incessant reports about how evil China is coming from the world's number one police state, the USA. I still remember our propaganda during the Cold War, about how we loved democracy and voting and all that and then those pesky people in the South, demanding the right to vote, would screw up the propaganda schemes. One of the many reasons Hoover who ran the FBI hated Dr. Martin Luther King so much. This is also why our government was forced to pass the Civil Rights Act. We had to have some connection with reality while bellowing about freedom and democracy.

The vote stealers running the country today love to talk about voting. This seriously irritates other world leaders who play the same tricks the GOP games. They are very angry about our fake interest in freedoms.

China issued Thursday the Human Rights Record of the United States in 2005 in response to the Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2005 issued by the U.S. State Department on Wednesday.

Released by the Information Office of China's State Council, the Chinese report listed a multitude of cases to show the serious violations of human rights both in and outside the United States.

"As in previous years, the U.S. State Department pointed the finger at human rights situations in more than 190 countries and regions (including China) but kept silent on the violations of human rights in the United States," says the document.

To help people realize the true features of this self-styled "guardian of human rights," it is necessary to probe into the human rights abuses in the United States in 2005, it says.

One wishes the USA would just grow up. All the time, I see articles written by right wingers that all love to say how "young" America is. Well, we are very old, we built a democracy that was pretty ricketty and jerry-rigged for quite a few years and when we finally go the Civil Rights Act, this was all dismantled via changing the rules controlling the media allowing rich people to buy up all the media outlets and spew only rank right wing propaganda and taking over the voting mechanisms so with a flick of the wrist, vote tallies can be faked.

The classic method of producing security via diplomacy has collapsed with Israel and their puppet state, the USA. On behalf of the belligerent state in the Middle East, the USA is reduced to snarling at close former allies. Meanwhile, the other super powers are merging. From Xinhua Net:

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to China from March 21 to 22, a visit which analysts say will facilitate the pragmatic comprehensive cooperation, including energy cooperation, between the two countries.

"President Putin's visit aims to enrich current Sino-Russian cooperation by launching more pragmatic and down-to-earth programs since China and Russia began carrying out most of their cooperation at the government level in the previous years," said Jiang Yi, a researcher from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

With regards to energy cooperation, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said Thursday that "energy cooperation between China and Russia is mutually beneficial and complies with the interests of both countries."

Qin described energy cooperation as a major part of Sino-Russian comprehensive cooperation, saying "China will work with Russia in an effort to enhance cooperation in the energy field."

China and Russia have agreed to ensure a steady oil supply to China by rail, promising an annual supply of at least 15 million tons of oil as of 2006, according to a communique issued by the two governments last year.

China is preparing for WWIII. I suppose they see this as inevitable at this point, judging from the way the USA's dicator is reacting. They won't fight it over Iran, Iran is too far away, Russia is much closer and Russia doesn't want to see Americans wrecking Iran while strengthening bases on their own perimeter. So both Russia and China have many reasons to bar American/Israeli attacks on Iran and Iran knows this. For public consumption, Russia and China ritualistically speak out against nuclear proliferation and of course, they both silently point to the recent USA/India pact that cements nuclear technology assistance to a violator of nuclear proliferation.

Meanwhile, Japan continues to poke at China. From Xinhua Net:

China was "shocked" by the Japanese Foreign Minister's recent remarks which contradict the China-Japan Joint Statement, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang on Thursday.

Qin said at a regular press briefing that China strongly protested against the remarks that grossly interfere in China's internal affairs.

When speaking with a parliamentary committee, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso called Taiwan "a country".

Qin said the Taiwan and historical issues between China and Japan form the important basis of ties between the two countries. Japan has "made the commitment" in the three political documents governing the Sino-Japanese ties and China hopes Japan will strictly abide by it, Qin said.

The three documents are the China-Japan Joint Statement, the Peace and Friendship Treaty and the China-Japan Joint Declaration.

World Wars have started over less, you know. People who can't understand how or why massive wars break out should take a closer look at history. Namely, reading diplomatic cables from the year before WWI or the year before WWII started, one can clearly see the outlines of what is going to explode. The other thing to look at is the industrial health of the leading empire in each case. This is where historians often stumble since they look to individuals rather than inevitable economic forces. Since the massive (ILLEGALLY GAINED!) British Empire has to be "the good guy", historians overlook the real lesson of WWI and WWII: all empires force world wars because this is the only way to fight them as they collapse internally.

America is collapsing. Our rising violence is a symptom of this collapse. The bellows we are hearing is the sound of a mighty beast stuck in the tar pit, flailing about. Americans are passively watching the Punch and Judy show going on over Iran as if this is some distant matter and all we have to do is insure that oil state can't defend itself from us and all will be well. Europe, the old Maid of Imperialism, is terrified of Iran having nukes because they plan to suck Iran dry even more than America dreams this since they are physically much closer. They already know that Russia has its claws around their collective necks and they hope to throw off Russia by conquering Iran's oil fields. This is an insane dream. And the saddest part is, Russia has a huge customer for their oil products: China! China has to go to a lot of trouble to get oil from Iran but Russia can pipe this stuff directly to China.

America is relying more and more on oil that has to travel far in expensive ships that are also very vulnerable. This is another reason for our rising panic here at home. Unlike WWI and WWII, our vulnerablilty is much greater since all others have to do is stop the conveyor belt which is causing more than a quarter of the world's resources to flow to America.

And cutting this off is ridiculously easy. As I keep warning my fellow citizens. Japan can't suck up $500 billion in red ink every year just for our government nor can they suck up another $900 billion in lopsided trade.

Which takes us back to the Middle East. The despots there are pouring money into buying up American ports, American businesses, bribing American politicians via lobbyists. From the WP:

Middle Eastern investment in the United States is once again picking up steam, showing big gains since the tense period following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. And while some takeovers are triggering alarm -- most famously, the purchase by a Dubai-owned company of a seaports management firm -- others are evoking warm welcomes.

Spearheading the trend is Dubai's Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktum (popularly known as "Sheik Mo"), ruler of the freewheeling city-state, which is part of the United Arab Emirates. The ports deal is just one of a series of recent purchases by companies he controls.

They have figured out all of America is now for sale and they are buying, big time. Israel has to first suction money out of America before getting enough to bribe politicians into obeying them rather than the now disposessed American voters whereas the rich Sheiks can buy direct, cash and carry. Thanks to the high price of oil.

They don't want to see a nuclear Iran because of ancient grudges. So they push us into confrontation where they get to sit on the sidelines and make money while we die. And worse, trot back over here to use the money gained in milking our military machine and spend it here, buying up our military/industrial complex. This is so stupid. This ring around the rosey is missing someone: the American populace who are confronting huge cuts in social services, wages, inflation and outsourcing. We come dead last.

This is why Bush was praising India for stealing American jobs. This is why the ports funneling all that Asian stuff is going to be moved to Mexico so we don't even get the transportation jobs! From the Monthly Review:

To minimize transportation costs, which for many products are higher than the cost of production, intermodal transportation of containerized imports was developed. Manufactured goods are packed into mobile shipping containers at factories in the Far East and travel by ship, train, and truck to distribution centers and, ultimately, consumer outlets across the United States. Currently, intermodal transportation of cheap imported commodities is the lifeline of the American economy. In 2004, the Port of Los Angeles processed 7.3 million container units and Long Beach handled 5.8 million. These two ports alone accounted for 68 percent of the West Coast total and are, by far, the largest employers in California. U.S. workers, who have seen so many lucrative manufacturing jobs moved overseas, assumed that import transportation and distribution jobs could not be offshored and were, therefore, relatively secure.

This is ridiculous. We are all New Orleans. The barriers that should protect us are blown up and the sea is rushing in and we are drowning.

Which is why the sabres are rattling, the swords are being drawn, the shouting is loud and our dictator wants total power so he can "protect" us.

Criminals. They are traitors and criminals.

Congress Makes UNCONSTITUTIONAL Spying Without Warrants Legal

Without even any investigations of Bush and Gonzales breaking the law which would end in impeaching these criminals, Congress instead has secret meetings with their Fuehrer and decide the solution is to make warrantless searches legal!

From the NYT:

The plan by Senate Republicans to step up oversight of the National Security Agency's domestic surveillance program would also give legislative sanction for the first time to long-term eavesdropping on Americans without a court warrant, legal experts said on Wednesday.

Civil liberties advocates called the proposed oversight inadequate and the licensing of eavesdropping without warrants unnecessary and unwise. But the Republican senators who drafted the proposal said it represented a hard-wrung compromise with the White House, which strongly opposed any Congressional interference in the eavesdropping program.

What is this "hard wrought" business? Bush threatened to veto any laws that would preserve the Constitution? Huh?

Bush spies on me and he spies on you, He spies on whoever he wants and he has a very long "enemies list" which he uses as the basis of this spying. America is rapidly becoming a police state, already we see our dictator using his vast powers handed to him by the Republicans who steal elections, he won't let harmless people into America who happen to protest his abuse of American and international laws. He sells America down the river to foreign powers like Dubai or Japan. He opens our ports and our cities to invasion and attacks but spends tremendous amount of time and effort tracking environmentalists and political dissidents.

He broke the law when he abused his powers and illegally spied on American citizens who were not breaking any laws. He should be arrested for this. At least impeached. Instead, he throws tempertantrums at the GOP Congressional leaders who cringe and beg for more. This collection of white males seem to be the biggest bunch of scary-cats on earth. Trembling like little children spooked by the itsy-bitsy spider, they squeal and run.

On Tuesday, Mr. Rockefeller said he believed that the committee's Republicans were "under the control" of the White House. Mr. Roberts said on Wednesday that he resented being portrayed as what he called a "lap dog of the administration."

Um, they are more than lap dogs, they are the barking dogs of the neo-nazi police state.

They want endless police state protections for themselves and then they turn around and pop on that stupid cowboy Brokeback hat and goose each other, stepping all over the Constitution, yawping as if they are strong and hale instead of helpless little cowardly twits.

If they are so chicken little scared of terrorists why are they so flaccid and flummoxed by the Dubai port deal? I don't get it. They want to lock the front door of America and then hand the keys to the Muslim dictators ruling the Middle East? Huh?

The administration would be required to provide "full access" to information about the eavesdropping, including "operational details," to the new Senate and House subcommittees, the summary said. Each subcommittee would consist of four Republicans and three Democrats from the Intelligence Committees.

Mr. DeWine, a principal author of the proposal, said it would give "very specific pinpoint oversight."

"We will be seeing specific cases coming back and seeing why they are not going into the FISA court," he said.

There is ZERO reason for all this. The "oversight" committee will be mostly Republicans and they will simply rubber stamp the dictator's choices and we will never know what the hell is going on since this stupid "oversight" committee will operate like the previous one: no one is allowed to talk about the spying! Gah. Worse, Bush can spy for 45 days before even telling the committee! Talk about rubbish. This rubber stamp proposal is unconstitutional. Congress cannot simply decide to write off much of the Constitution! Of course, the courts are now packed with neo-nazis who are desperate to cement the police state into place. They assure us, this is to protect America. Well, I know how to protect America!

Arrest them all. They are traitors. Period.

Russia Hosts G8 Meeting--America And Russia In Conflict

G8 is meeting in Russia. Our relations with Russia worsen by the hour thanks to American imperialist objectives. Russia is an energy exporting country. This gives them increasing power quite literally. America wants war with Iran. WWIII, anyone?

From the Washington Post:

The Russian president, Boris Yeltsin, was allowed first to attend meetings and then to join, on the muddled grounds that making him a member, despite his country's lack of qualifications, would magically turn Russia into one of the world's largest democracies, too. It did not.

But now, having acquired ludicrous levels of significance and symbolism, the institution faces a genuine crisis. In July, the organization is going to meet for the first time under Russian leadership, in Russian President Vladimir Putin's hometown of St. Petersburg. And for the first time, a G-8 summit could produce, along with the bland communique, a political backlash harmful to all.

For by going to St. Petersburg, President Bush, Prime Minister Tony Blair, President Jacques Chirac, and the leaders of Italy, Germany, Canada and Japan will in effect place their stamp of approval on the removal of political rights, the harassment of independent groups, the renationalization of energy and the censorship of media that Putin has imposed on his country since he took over from Yeltsin six years ago. They will also give their blessing to Putin's use of gas pipelines to threaten Ukraine, and to his ambiguous role in Iranian nuclear and Middle East peace negotiations. And after Bush goes home, the denizens of the Kremlin -- along with Venezuelans, Iranians, Arab leaders and others around the world -- will sit back, laugh and agree that the leaders of the so-called West merely pay lip service to the ideals of freedom and democracy; they don't really believe in them. If you have enough oil, they'll let you into their clubs anyway. The long-term result: The American president's ability to speak credibly about democracy and political freedom will be irreparably damaged.

My god, the Washington Post is trying their mightiest to make me laugh to death. Teach Elaine a lesson!

Well, I am made of sterner stuff and so are readers of this blog. Naaaay.

For the world's foremost police state that lets in hordes of illegal aliens while locking out Irish Parlimentarians or authors of books or film makers, poets, spouses of dead labor leaders, everyone and anyone who might irritate the ruling elite here, yaps about freedom in Russia?

The country that self censors the press and TV by allowing powerful monopolies run by the elite take over all forms of the media leaving only the internet as the last bastion of real First Amendment rights, one that they are most anxious to shut down, we are the beacon of freedom? Huh? Pass that by us bloggers again, dudes.

With bloggers now being openly spied upon by the government, the government invading homes to see if we have pictures of Bush being strung up by his skinny neck, is the beacon of civil rights, a person's home is their castle?

I don't have these pictures at home though I do have one with Bush as the Fool with the Crown waving a Sword, attacking the court system. Does that count as subversive?

America's rulers have to heave very hard to make it look as if this country isn't a police state even as they impose this rule on us. Look at England! They are being herded into carrying ID cards that have EYE SCANS! A man was fined for giving the finger to hidden police cameras. You see, you are supposed to be happy they are spying on everyone. A woman sued them for using the cameras to spy on her and her evidence was the cameras trained on the camera watchers, filming them making obscene comments about the lady in question while spying on her.

I remember an ancient British tale of the Peeping Tom and the naked Queen riding through London's streets back in the Dark Ages, a time when peeping Toms spying on everyone through eaves dropping, another quaint English tale, eaves droppers hung out next to windows, they were called all sorts of unpleasant names. Sneaks, stoolies, ever hear of "Keep yer nose out of my affairs"?

Sneaky sneaks are meeting sneakily in Russia so they can plot how to spy on us and drive us all into slavery. And these evil people dare to yap about Russia? What is Putin's crime, anyway? Oh, he is taking over the oil and charging a lot of money for it and using it to improve social services in Russia.

OH!!!! Now I see!!!! Bad Putin, naughty, naughty. In Europe, they are putting historians in prison for "denying the Holocaust" even as they assist the Jews in creating a new Holocaust in the Middle East and we are not allowed to make cartoons showing the Jews in Israel as neo-nazis even as Horowitz rummages around America, trying to intimidate professors who dare speak anything drastically diffent from the neo-Zionist's neo-con crap. Teachers are harrassed for talking about Gandhi in school, mentioning the possibility of peaceful disengagement, reprimanded for mentioning the astonishing closeness of Bush to Hitler's ideology. Not to mention, his family's personal friendships with the same.

I was too sick yesterday to post about this which is OK since it is even more relevant today. From Reuters

The top diplomats from Russia and the United States exposed their countries' widening rift on Tuesday, publicly airing disagreements over how to curb Iran's nuclear programs and other issues, such as trade and democracy.

At a news conference, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov departed from their past practice of keeping their differences behind closed doors and exchanged complaints about the other's policies.

After Rice said she had expressed U.S. worries about Russia's democracy, Lavrov retorted that Moscow too had concerns about the United States and complained that Washington was the sole hold-out blocking its entry to the World Trade Organization.

The more unpopular our dictator is at home, the more he and his minons yap about democracy abroad. I see a pattern here. Russia, like China, is openly hostile at this pathetic attempt at propaganda from people who have shredded our Constitution, openly used a vote tally on Diebold machines, 18181, to shove in our faces the truth that our voting systems are fake machines set to keep them in power with eternal 50.1% vote tally victories so even when the polls show 60% of Americans loathe the GOP, they can claim one last minute victory after another until someone pulls their plugs.

This is ridiculous. International vote monitoring organizations uniformly call the American electoral system a complete failure and impossible to monitor due to systems set up to defeat examination for fairness.

Russia rightfully warned us to keep out of their territory, they have a "sphere of influence" and we plopped military bases deep within this sphere while crowing that we were winning the Cold War at last. Meanwhile, we verbally attack China who is very upset for the same reason, our penchant for setting up military bases deep within their sphere of influence, too. From the Washington Post:

Reports from Taiwan said Chen's government had reassured U.S. officials by changing the language of the announcement. Originally, Chen planned to say he was "abolishing" the council, they said, but shifted to a statement that it had "ceased to function."

This amounted to little more than official recognition of reality, the reports said. The council, founded in 1990 by the then-governing Nationalist Party, has been inoperative since Chen came to power on an ardently pro-independence platform.

Chinese officials and analysts have warned that Chen could read the mild U.S. response as a green light for further steps emphasizing his desire to establish formal independence. In particular, Chinese officials have expressed fear Chen might try next to revise the constitution to underline its separation from China, or start calling the island Taiwan in official documents.

"We will have to remain highly vigilant for any complication in the situation," Li said, "and we are prepared to deal with any development."

Li is the person in charge of Chinese foreign affairs and his IQ dwarfs Condi's IQ. He knows the game we are playing and he knows the stakes and he is gently warning us that we are in danger of being fried. He knows the tools to be used are economic as well as diplomatic. He courts Putin daily. He never lectures Russia in public. He doesn't even lecture America, not that our rulers would heed any warnings.

Some people think it is all one big joke, this Chinese fixation with Taiwan. Geopolitical reasons for China doing this are very, very, TERRIBLY strong. China has many good reasons to insure Taiwan be an ally and not an enemy. It would be the height of irresponsility for Chinese leaders to ignore this. Taiwan is a knife at China's throat.

It would be like India ignoring Pakistan. They can't.

And are we winning hearts and minds in Russia or China, for that matter? From Moscow News:

Most Russians are not going to support any side in an armed conflict between the United States and Iran. 17 percent of the respondents to the poll held by Levada Center company called the United States a definite threat to the world and 40 percent said it was likely so. 9 percent said Iran was the threat, 33 said it was likely so.

Speaking on Russia’s role in a possible conflict, 35 percent said they wanted Russia to become a mediator, 27 expressed the point it was better not to intervene, 18 percent said it was preferable to maneuver between the sides acting in its own interest. Only 6 percent proposed to support Iran, and 3 percent to support the United States.

Looks like Putin, unlike Bush or Blair, is actually reflecting the Will of the People! They don't want war, they want neutrality but lean towards Iran's side and are definitely against America. I am not a bit surprised, reading how deftly Putin has been playing this game lately, it is interesting. He even invited Hamas over for tea while America's Zionist State Department screamed itself hoarse.

Cindy Sheehan Arrested At the UN Even As Our Hitler Tries To Stampede The UN Into Attacking Iran

Cindy Sheehan tried to deliver thousands of signatures to the UN but they locked the doors claiming the press (!) couldn't come in. She refused to leave and was arrested. Meanwhile, the US delegation clashed swords and shields and screamed dementedly that Israel...er, the world demands Iran disarm so we can invade them. We also claimed Iran is causing the nonexistant civil war in Iraq, not us, nope. Arrest Bolton. Arrest Bush.

About 20 protesters went to the U.S. Mission to the United Nations to deliver a petition with 60,000 signatures seeking an end to the war.

The protesters said they had been told they could send a delegation into the building to present their petition, but that no one showed up to receive them.

A Reuters photographer said security guards inside the building had held the doors to prevent them from entering.

But Richard Grenell, the spokesman for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, said the protesters had been invited in but had refused to do so because media representatives were not allowed to accompany them.

Unless Iran executes a dramatic about-face and suspends all its nuclear activities, the U.N. Security Council will intervene "quite actively," a senior State Department official said Monday.

The message to Iran is that it has "crossed the international red line" and engaged in unacceptable enrichment activity "and there must be a U.N. Security Council process to deal with that," Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns said.

Burns did not say what the United States would ask the Security Council to do. While the Bush administration takes a stern line toward Tehran it might not be able to persuade other nations to impose economic or other penalties on Iran.

You can bet our trigger happy Cheney and Bush just can't control the urge to blindly pull that trigger. They can't help it.

Meanwhile, China grows very pissed off. Being blank faced inscrutables, they are hiding their true feelings but every day, their official news sites growl about Taiwan and they are very angry. Very. They are thinking it is time to twist the fatted goose's neck. There is no way anything we sponsor will sail through the Security Council but that doesn't stop our Bush! He illegally invaded Iraq without UN permission!

But that was with China's blessings which are now curses. Being insane as well as stupid, Bush can't see this little change. The comely princess is now a raging dragon.

Meanwhile, Iraq continues to implode, explode and just plain fall apart. From the Washington Post:

A senior Iraqi general who commanded the Iraqi Army division in Baghdad was gunned down by insurgents today, the U.S. military said.

Maj. Gen. Mubdar Hatim Hazya al-Dulaimi was killed when snipers fired at his convoy from houses alongside a highway at 4:35 p.m. Baghdad time, according to a statement released by the U.S. military command in Baghdad. Mubdar, a Sunni Muslim, had been visiting his soldiers in Kadhimiya, in northwestern Baghdad, and was killed the city's western Adl neighborhood, according to an Interior Ministry official quoted by the Associated Press.

The general was one of the highest-ranking Iraqi military officers killed in the violence that has engulfed Iraq since U.S. troops toppled Saddam Hussein's government nearly three years ago. Under Mubdar's leadership, his division had gradually been assuming control of parts of Baghdad from U.S. forces. The transfer of authority to Iraqi units is regarded by U.S. military commanders as a key prerequisite to a reduction in U.S. troop levels in Iraq.

The death came on a day in which car bombings and other attacks killed more than 20 people and injured 50 others, shattering a relative lull in violence over the weekend that followed a partial curfew in the capital for Friday prayers.

Why can't we send all our Pentagon brass there? Let them drink the blood they caused. Let them pay the ultimate price. And send that lazybones coward, Negroponte as well as Bush and Cheney. Don't let Cheney have a gun.

Meanwhile, Iran is dropping several bombs on America, namely, oil cut offs. From Jang.com:

Iran will not freeze sensitive nuclear research work even if it is hauled before the UN Security Council, the Islamic republic’s top nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, said on Sunday.

Speaking on the eve of a meeting of the UN nuclear watchdog that could prompt Security Council action, he asserted Iran was not intending to use oil as a weapon in the dispute or quit the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), but he warned this could change if the crisis worsened.

"We have no interest in using oil as a weapon because we respect the psychological security of the international community," Larijani told a press conference, repeating Iran’s position that it would not initiate such a move.

"But naturally if they change the situation that will automatically be affected too," he warned. "Research and development is in our national interest and Iran will not go back on that," he maintained.

This is all so simple. Just like we gave away the store and all our jobs to India this week, all China needs is Taiwan. We give them that, we get Iran. So elegantly simple.

In recent weeks, the FBI has issued hundreds of "National Security Letters," directing employers, banks, credit card companies, libraries and other entities to turn over records on reporters. Under the USA Patriot Act, those who must turn over the records are also prohibited from revealing they have done so to the subject of the federal probes.

"The significance of this cannot be overstated," says prominent New York litigator Glenn Greenwald. "In essence, while the President sits in the White House undisturbed after proudly announcing that he has been breaking the law and will continue to do so, his slavish political appointees at the Justice Department are using the mammoth law enforcement powers of the federal government to find and criminally prosecute those who brought this illegal conduct to light.

Indeed, read this entire link! Chilling. It seems, the Feds are contacting the owners of various media, seeking to find out who leaked the Justice (sic) department's information concerning the totally illegal spying on peace groups and writers (INCLUDING ME!).

Namely, many innocent Americans doing their civic duty according to the first 5 Amendments in "that scrap of paper" as Bush haughtily called our Constitution!

Of all the lawsuits seeking to halt the National Security Agency's program to eavesdrop on certain Americans' electronic communications, a new one filed last week in Oregon may provide the federal courts with the most detailed glimpse yet into the clandestine counterterrorism effort.

The biggest challenge for such cases - which have also been filed in New York, Michigan, and California - is that plaintiffs don't have access to records of highly classified government surveillance activities and therefore can't be sure they were personally subjected to covert phone- tapping or e-mail reading by the US government.

The Oregon suit may manage to leap over that imposing legal hurdle. Lawyers and their clients apparently have seen phone logs and other top-secret records inadvertently provided, and then hastily recovered, by government officials.

More and more very angry people are demanding the courts do their duty and go after the obvious criminals here: the entire Justice Department and Bush! Arrest them all!

Security Council to impose sanctions on Iran but other countries are talking about doing so and Washington is “beefing up defensive measures to cope with the Iranian nuclear threat.”

I certainly am easier to find than bin Laden. Just use a search engine. My darling emailer didn't explain to me who the mysterious blogger was who wrote several articles about children being blown up. This still mystifies me. If they are going to talk about me, they should have asked my opinion before publishing or at least given the url of the mystery site they cited in their own article.

Like all bloggers, I am eager to have an audience even if that audience is hostile. He also didn't explain the blogger war games that irritated the hell out of me the other day.

The last several days has been blogger hell at Blogspot.com. This is why my stories haven't been posted in a timely fashion. Well, now I learn that this week, the Pentagon has been doing war games...AGAINST BLOGGERS! We are, I am assuming, the Enemy. Pen is mightier than the sword and all that.

Do they toss and turn at night, wondering about the pictures showing seas of red ink? The funny pictures of Dear Leader and Dear Big Time Leader? Is this undermining their morale?

Will Homeland Security visit me, next? And the real question is, can they do this during mud season when the long road up my mountain turns to mush? All the military vehicles that can negotiate the ruts on this road are in Iraq so I guess I can stick my tongue at at all of them, eh?

Except they can nail me here, online. And this ticks me off.

Bush Cutting Funds To Coast Guard RESCUE Operations!

Just like the years Bush cut money for fixing or improving levees, now he is cutting funds to the Coast Guard especially their rescue work. Arrest Bush. He killed thousands last fall, he plans to kill even more thousands this summer.

Capitol Hill lawmakers on both sides of the aisle say the Bush administration is cutting critical Coast Guard funding, including $31 million for rescue missions, despite the agency's success in rescuing 33,000 storm victims in the last hurricane season.
"The cuts to search and rescue are particularly incomprehensible in light of the heroic performance of the Coast Guard during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita," said Sen. Susan Collins, Maine Republican and chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Incredible, isn't it? Leaves one speechless.

Sept. 9, 2005 â€” Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Michael Brown, under criticism due to his management of Hurricane Katrina as well as reported discrepancies on his resume, is expected to be out as head of the agency very soon, informed sources have told ABC News.

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is expected to announce that Brown will return to Washington, D.C., and Vice Admiral Thad W. Allen of the Coast Guard will be elevated to take over disaster relief efforts.

Nothing like success killing the competent! Bush rewards and promotes incompetence and fires people who do well. It is well worth going to the September archives here and just look at the cartoons. My oh my. Was I busy!

This level of malign incompetence isn't mere stupidity. Bush has a history of being a psychopath. He loved executing people, he loved blowing up frogs while running around, laughing. He and his wife literally run over people and Cheney shoots them in the face and then feels more sorry for himself, they are all murderous psychopaths and once again, we have proof of this.

The military is revving up the Vietnam War "gun airships" to shoot up civilian communities in Iraq. We are spending over $2 billion a week there and the fighting rages higher and higher. Meanwhile, Bush plans to let us drown. And does nothing about pollution and global warming. Latest news is, 54% of America thinks Bush isn't making America safe. Well. DUH. About time.

This is due to the media not reporting the "Bin Laden Attack" memo once Congress got their paws on it. Nor did the media connect the bin Laden/Bush family dots. Nor did they show him laughing with children while the rest of America was running around, screaming, "We are under attack!" He even admitted, "I thought, America is under attack" when Card told him about the second jet. So why did he sit there?

And the pictures from the WTC. Amazing. Bush, standing on the smoking ruins, standing on over 3,000 corpses, look at the photos!

HE IS LAUGHING. He can barely contain his mirth. Gah. Arrest him now.

Israel's Defense Forces Use Only Kid Gloves On Jewish Terroists While Killing Palestinian Children For No Reason

All the foo-foo about "terrorism" and yet, when protected people do terrorist acts, they are carefully handled so not to even bruise them, much less, kill them. So today, in Israel, three terrorists who are not Palestinian, attack a Palestinian-Christian church. They are protected from the outraged crowd and carefully whisked away by the IDF who then turns around, and in another community, shoots dead a 15 year old youth for going up on the roof to see a fire fight! (The IDF killing other Palestinians)

From AP:

A distraught Israeli couple, joined by another woman, entered one of Christianity's holiest sites Friday and set off explosions, police said, sparking a large riot in this biblical town in northern Israel.

At least eight people, including five police, were injured in the melee, which appeared to be under control by late Friday.

The assailants, who were not believed to be linked to any Jewish nationalist group, were disguised as Christian pilgrims when they entered the Basilica of the Annunciation, police said.

They remained barricaded inside the building for several hours before police broke through a crowd of several thousand angry protesters and took the three away.

Like the many bombs hitting mosques in Iraq, this is what our media and our rulers call "terrorism" but because it was being done by people who we label as "good", they are described as "distraught" rather than as "cold blooded terrorists." This is how language is used to modify acts.

The church goers who were attacked were "distraught." The fact that these terrorists took the trouble to get disguises and sneak in, this is no sudden, out of control act but a planned plot of more than two people to do a terrorist act. But no where in the article are they called "terrorists."

Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian teenager and wounded a second person during an early morning raid Friday in the West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinians said, the latest death in a recent flare-up in violence between Israel and the Palestinians.

Palestinian witnesses said Amer Basiouny, 15, was shot when he went up on the roof of his family's home in the Ein Beit Ilma refugee camp in Nablus to see what was going on after gunfire erupted in his neighborhood during the pre-dawn Israeli raid.

The Israeli army said troops in the camp shot an armed man and a second person who threw an object, believed to have been a bomb, at the soldiers during the raid.

Residents said Basiouny was not armed. A second person was lightly wounded by shrapnel that flew into his house, they said. There were no reports of a second person being shot, they said.

Israel reminds me of the Deep South. As minorities fumed under the whip of a very unfair and downright evil regime of racist oppression, the police would handle blacks in the most brutal way imaginable and not feel the slightest guilt while white folk committing very grave crimes were hardly arrested, much less, punished, no matter how many people they killed.

This system was so bad, whites could have themselves photographed at murder sites complete with the body hanging from some tree and then sell the photos as soveniers.

Meanwhile, Russia cuts a deal with the USA and Israel. From AP:

Hamas' leader made the militant Palestinian group's highest-level diplomatic trip ever Friday to hear out Russia's urging that it recognize Israel and abandon violence, but emerged showing no softening in hostility toward the Jewish state.

Hamas political chief Khaled Mashaal welcomed the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other officials, calling it "good, constructive and open," but he did not discuss details of the four-hour talks.

A statement from the Foreign Ministry, however, said the Russian side urged Hamas to endorse the "rejection of violence as a means of obtaining political goals," observe existing Israeli-Palestinian agreements and recognize "Israel's right to exist."

This snarled ball of yarn will unravel only during the Apocalypse when all will be turned into one, big, molten mess.

Religious forces being unleashed by all this are hard to quantify but I feel in my bones that religious insanity is at the bottom of all this and we know there is no upper limit to the death and destruction religions can create when they express the will of the Gods which is, nearly always, malign. I, personally, think "Gods" are our ids, that deep, psychotic inner self that dwells in the reptilian parts of our minds. We humans have brutally annihilated anyone and anything in our paths and as we crown ourselves as the penultimate species, we lash out at each other with amazing brutality.

When, for example, that little Palestinian girl was shot in the back by IDF snipers, no one in Israel said so much as a peep about it. The government didn't punish the murderer nor did it apologize to the girl's family. And we can expect no feelings of sympathy going the other direction, either.

In Iraq, the religious riots and budding civil war has been put on pause today only by banning all commerce, traffic and human activity. Already, the various religious sects are seperating populations so they can go at it in ernest in the near future.

Bush went to Pakistan where the entire city center was cleared of all people so our poppin jay President can parade about, pretending to be some sort of diplomatic wonder boy. The dictator there had to use a lot of muscle to make it look as if someone is happy to see Bush aside from himself.

Bush flew into the country with the lights turned off, the name of his jet, hidden, in the dark of night, just like his entry into Afghanistan. These are our "allies".

The Palestinians are finding all doors closed to them. The religious bigots running Israel think, this will bring victory. Nacht und Nebel power! They imagine, starving, helpless, attacked by police dogs, herded into camps surrounded by barbed wire, shot at by irritable Jewish guards, even little children shot if they approach any perimeter of these death camps, this will save Israel from the Apocalypse.

Sad to watch the fulfillment of that dire prophecy. The Whore of Babylon is us.

NASA and USAF Spying On American Running Antiwar Organization

As I keep warning everyone, our government which is getting as bad as the Soviet Union at this point, spies on activists who are struggling to contain or inform citizens about what our military/industrial complex is up to. I was not surprized to see NASA also doing this. NASA has become an Orwellian ghoul rather than a civilian mission to the stars.

For more than a year, Bruce Gagnon strongly suspected he and his family were being spied on, but he didn't have any evidence, and he didn't know who might be behind it.

An Air Force veteran, Gagnon is one of the most prominent activists in the world concerned with space weapons. He directs the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space from a small office in Maine.

Still, he was caught off guard when the American Civil Liberties Union called and told him it had uncovered court documents revealing that NASA and the U.S. Air Force were secretly monitoring him.

Since Bush and Rummy allowed supposed Muslim "terrorists" to attack America with impunity while the entire miltiary sat on its collective ass, funds for spying on Americans has flowed freely. Even NASA, which claims poverty, has time and money to hire an army of right wing flacks to harrass and harry scientists and dissidents including me. Even NOAA has been forced to hire and support people whose sole function is to track and harrass anyone writing about global warming, again, they did this to me, too!

NASA's goon squad was ticked off about my Reagan wanting to talk to the school teacher in space piece, for example. They wanted me to know my story was false even though I know it was true since I was directly involved in trying to stop the shuttle from being launched that morning due entirely to concerns about severe cross winds.

I track who looks at my website and "unknown country" is code for USA government goons.

The real war as far as the American right wingers and their goofy leader, Bush, are concerned is the war to destroy democracy in America and stopping liberalism. This is why our civil liberties are evaporating, Congress is openly mocked by Bush who basically says every time he signs a bill that he will enforce the law only if he agrees otherwise it is meaningless! And he refuses to share vital government information with Congress especially when he is openly breaking the laws concerning spying on American citizens.

This is the rock bottom of our country; the right to have an opinion, speak in public, organize groups of people, the First Amendment. The news that a poll recently done showing Americans know the names of that stupid TV show, the Simpsons, characters better than they know the first 5 Amendments shows how dire our situation is.

For TV is now training minds, taking over the thinking parts, like a parasite, they eat up memory and displace reality. When the amended but still very unconstitutional Patriot Act was passed overwhelmingly in Congress, one member stood up, Feinstein, to read the Constitution and as he showed, point by point, how very unconstitutional these laws just passed were, all of Congress yawned.

The domed stadium is rapidly becoming the doomed stadium. The military are bringing in ever more people but the water is rising fast and it seems they no longer are bringing people in. The water is 3' deep around this "refuge" which is now a trap. People are already dying inside. Of course, the sick are the first to go. One man's oxygen tank ran out and he died. Others who need diabetes medication are now getting sicker. There is no way to dispose of the bodies but to take them outside into the hot sun.

Aug. 31 Katrina Blows Past UsI thought there might be a sane response to the hurricane which was whipping past my mountain that day.

Sept. 1st. Rescue Work Suspended!

I am crying. It is so hard to read the news now. Many are dying. There are dead bodies in the Stadium. Babies are dying. More people stream in and few get out and supplies aren't showing up because there isn't enough helicopters...they are all in Iraq and Afghanistan!---and people are dying.

Right now. I can't save a soul. Most of us have to stand by and watch this horror.

Sigh. Even now, I can't read this part without crying. My god. A must read. How I hate Bush!

More News From New Orleans CNN is getting many thousands of emails today nearly uniformly demanding to bring the troops home. Word is out on the streets that many troops in Iraq are ticked off because they can't defend America. Bin Laden sends us another taunting tape mocking our rulers and their wars and alas, no one can feel any confidence in those people supposedly protecting us. From Reuters:Six months ago. Not one troop has been pulled out of Iraq, the troop numbers are exactly the same, no, more were sent for the fake elections there. It is worse than before, the situation more dire this coming summer!

Sept. 2nd:

Oh, The Humanity!A National Guard helicopter finally came to drop them some supplies, and Mayor Ray Nagin advised those inside the convention center to march across a bridge to the other side of the Mississippi River for help.

Federal Emergency Management Director Michael Brown told CNN that federal officials were unaware of the crowds at the convention center until Thursday, despite the fact that city officials had been telling people for days to gather there.

"We just learned about that today, and so I have directed that we have all available resources to get to that convention center to make sure that they have the food and water, the medical care that they need," he said.That bastard, Brown, is trying to rewrite history. Here we are, days after the hurricane, I am already in hysterics, and that clown "just learned" about the situation? HUH? Liar.

I read the Mayor of New Orlean's interview. He was stonewalled from above, you know. Why do the right wingers pretend people have to call for help when it is obvious they are screaming for help? This deliberate cluelessness is why right wingers make hideous leaders. They are so used to filtering out the sounds of humans dying, wailing for help..."Time for her to get on with her life and for me to get on.." as Bush likes to say, his chill out comments now have to be switched to him holding destitute people.

Note that Bush hasn't reamed out his team. He smiles as he coddles the suffering. But he has not one strong word for his own team. Instead, he goes around seeking praise and love from his own cronies who lavish it upon Bubble Boy. From the WP:

The bad news of Bush and Chertoff's lying about Katrina, pretending they were kept in the dark, the tape clearly shows they knew exactly what was going on and deliberately ignored it all! Worse, Bush told Congress a tape of his phone calls concerning Katrina were "accidently erased." This was a lie since Rosemary is dead! Well, it was a lie. Bush released the tapes to Newsweek.

Administration and congressional officials said that the administration provided congressional investigators earlier this year with official transcripts of the daily noon FEMA conference calls conducted before, during and after Katrina. But the administration initially told Congress that the transcript for the Aug. 29 call—the call congressional investigators were most curious about, given that it occurred as the hurricane was actually battering the Gulf Coast—did not exist, with officials initially telling Capitol Hill that someone at FEMA or Homeland Security forgot to push the button on a tape recorder.

“Everybody has been looking for that transcript,” former FEMA chief Michael Brown said Wednesday.

A White House official unexpectedly e-mailed the transcript to NEWSWEEK earlier today Wednesday morning—initially without explaining that it was the missing transcript. Two officials familiar with congressional investigations said that the document was turned over to Capitol Hill investigators Tuesday night. Administration officials told both Congress and NEWSWEEK that FEMA officials in Atlanta had taped the Aug. 29 conference call by aiming a video camera at a TV screen rather than following the usual recording procedure. The videotape was subsequently discovered and transcribed.

While the newly discovered transcript does provide new evidence of initial presidential engagement in the Katrina crisis and of conflicting information about the state of New Orleans levees on Aug. 29, it also exposes some contradictions in previous administration explanations about the role of the White House and top officials in handling the crisis.

HAHAHA. I did a cartoon of Bush and Nixon's ghost. Seems the haunting has been in vain, Bush is too stupid to keep his lies straight.

Of course, Bush isn't scare of this Congress. So what if he lied about the transcripts, lied about tape recording stuff? He didn't have a Fawn Hall to take the transcripts out in her boots, he actually had it all the time and in a rage, released them before remembering his lies to Congress?

Time to put this clown under oath. Videotape his testimony and then examine it...at his impeachment. There is no other solution at this point. This poke in Congress' collective eye can't be allowed to slide like his refusal to warn them about the memo warning about bin Laden attacking America which he concealed for many months until forced to cough it up.

Desperate to keep a 'united' (sic) front in the "war on terriers", Congress didn't indite him for treason over that business but now, it is too much, too late. The secret deal with the UAE which involved secret exchanges of $100 million to daddy Bush's account plus a pretend $100 million "for Katrina survivors" who happen to be under eviction tonight, they are being kicked out of quarters and ordered to homeless shelters or on the streets! Yes, Red Cross still has a billion dollars left and not a penny for them!

And look at what is brewing! From AP:

Grass fires raged across Oklahoma on Wednesday, injuring two firefighters, destroying homes and forcing evacuations of schools and businesses, authorities said.

The largest fires burned in Stephens County in southwestern Oklahoma, where two volunteer firefighters suffered severe burns battling a blaze that was at least eight miles long. Their conditions were not immediately available.

"They got trapped and were overcome by fire and severely burned," said Sam Darst, spokesman for the city of Duncan, the county seat.

It is in the 90's down south in the Gulf regions? Huh? Oklahoma is supposed to be very cold this time of year, spring is about to come, but this is summer temps!

The hurricane season this year will most likely dwarf last year's storms. This is a catastrophe of huge proportions, they haven't fixed 30% of the oil and gas rigs and then bloowie! Bam.

Will we have to use Chinese characters for storm name numbers? The alphabet has too few letters!

Nothing has been fixed for the future. Bush is cutting back on National Guard units, the ones we have are still stuck in the deteriorating conditions in Iraq, there are no plans to bring anyone home despite the utter lack of interest on the part of Americans in spending another trillion dollars and 50,000 lives.

Bush Lied About Katrina! NOAA Officials Begged Him To Save People Day Before Hurricane Hit!

Bush's lies about not imagining hurricane Katrina's dangers was a lie! Associated Press has the video tape NOAA made, arguing with him and Chertoff. Both men said they understood what was going to happen and then both ran off to play around, ignoring it all. Arrest both men for manslaughter!

In dramatic and sometimes agonizing terms, federal disaster officials warned President Bush and his homeland security chief before Hurricane Katrina struck that the storm could breach levees, risk lives in New Orleans' Superdome and overwhelm rescuers, according to confidential video footage of the briefings.

Bush didn't ask a single question during the final government-wide briefing the day before Katrina struck on Aug. 29 but assured soon-to-be-battered state officials: "We are fully prepared."

Six days of footage and transcripts obtained by The Associated Press show in excruciating detail that while federal officials anticipated the tragedy that unfolded in New Orleans and elsewhere along the Gulf Coast, they were fatally slow to realize they had not mustered enough resources to deal with the unprecedented disaster.

Both men lied about life and death matters. Both men were directly responsible for protecting American citizens and both deliberately ran off elsewhere and pretended ignorance.

Both knew the National Guard and their equipment was in Iraq, still is in Iraq. Both knew about the mass of helpless humanity locked up in the Super Dome. Both of them were esquistely aware that the dikes might break and water go up even to the Super Dome.

They knew everything. Just like 9/11, they were warned, they knew, they goofed off, I include Rumsfeld in this earlier episode of lying about knowledge.

Arrest these criminals. Arrest them now! This is no joke. Many, many people died, thousands are still missing, the death toll is over 3,000 dead and this doesn't include some missing infants. These people, not one of them needed to die. It wasn't as if they wanted to stay in New Orleans. Everyone with vehicles and money to stay in hotels fled instantly. I was agast at how there was no NG going around in big trucks, picking up the elderly, the young, people who had no transportation, people in wheel chairs.

I couldn't believe we would allow America to be totally stripped naked and then left to die. But Bush knew. Chertoff knew. Chertoff slept like a baby the night the hurricane blew in, I was up all night, blogging like crazy, had the most readers ever, people were all over the net, seeking information! But not Chertoff. Not Bush.

The two men most responsible for doing something were snoozing, going to parties, laughing. Ditto Condi. Ditto Cheney, busy killing small, helpless animals up north.

Arrest them all! Good grief, what will it take? More lies? More deaths?

Yes, it will. Unless America wakes up and realizes these men are psychopaths who want us to die.

As I Predicted, The Attack On Shrine In Iraq Was Inside Job

The fact that the guards of the blown up shrine weren't killed, first, was a clue to who did this crime. Like the Sherlock Holmes story about the stolen racehorse, the dog didn't bark which meant it was an inside job. Ditto this crime.

Reuters UK:

Iraq's national security adviser said on Tuesday four guards protecting the Shi'ite shrine bombed last week were being held as suspects in the attack that pushed the country to the brink of civil war.

"We have two strong leads of their involvement but I don't like to discuss them because it will jeopardise the investigation," Mowaffaq al-Rubaie told Reuters, adding six other people had been arrested over the dawn blast, blamed on al Qaeda militants seeking to sow sectarian violence in Iraq.

Minister of State for National Security Abdul Karim al-Enazy said questions remained over why the assailants, who spent long hours planting the bomb, did not kill any of the eight guards, who were found tied up but unharmed.

Sadr, anyone?

In this article I wrote the same hour as the explosions, I hit the nail on the head.

OK, this explosion happened when the temple was empty. Previous Sunni/Shi'a explosions have happened, using suicide lunatics, during festivals and worship. This one was a sunrise raid. Samarra isn't exactly an open city for any Sunni to enter much less a group of armed men carrying what had to be a very big load of TNT. This bomb blew up a very massive building.

Seems I wasn't the only one to notice this.

Here is my following analysis:

The earliest stories think Sunnis wearing fake uniforms did this but what if the uniforms were what Sadr's guys were wearing? They are the ones who had easy access to these garments and they knew the code words and they had handcuffs, etc. *snip* The Sunni didn't want to end the talks. The American rulers wanted the talks to continue so the Sunni could get some political power. So the list of who wanted these talks to end quickly are very short. At the top of the list is Sadr.

This is time for me to preen my feathers at tad.

Heh. So many people elsewhere mock my analysis of events but when push comes to shove, I remain standing while others fall.

Here is another prediction: arresting Sadr is just as impossible as earlier. He is surrounded by armed troops who will turn his arrest into a blood bath from hell. Already, the fires he lit are merrily burning and won't stop so easily. If we move in our troops to take him, the tattered remains of the British army stuck deep in Shia (Shiite) territory will be killed. Bang. Like that.

This could easily spill into Iranian hands, you know.

The Brits were given the southern corridor because it was supposedly safe. Already, the Brits are under heavy fire and can't leave their strongholds easily because they are being blown up at the same rate as the Americans. And the last division of our Iraqi Qusiling Troops has disinitgrated because Sadr has called in his men who are sworn to slit our throats.

Lovely.

We can bomb all of Iraq to hell and this won't save us. Like Russia burning down Afghanistan and Chechnya, it won't work. Note that Russia has terrible problems with terrorism deep within their own territories, inside Moscow itself, even.

Time to open our ports to the UAE!

Taiwan's President Ends Reunification Council--China Broils With Fury

OK, this is what happens when one lets money men run our foreign policy. They sell us down the river and we lose all influence over other nations because we are in debt to nearly everyone now. So Taiwan can punch China in the eye and then shove us into China's face. China, a major source of funds for our dicator, is now shoving Bush back into Taiwan's lap. Meanwhile, the Japanese kick us in the shins while shoving us into China's face, too, while tripping over both Koreas which are striking back at Japan, if the Middle East isn't enough fun for us, welcome to the Far East, land of scrutible and inscrutible screw ups.

Chinese President Hu Jintao on Tuesday slashed the decision of Taiwan authorities to cease the function of "National Unification Council" and the application of its guidelines, saying it is a "dangerous step" toward "Taiwan Independence."

Hu made the remarks while meeting with visiting Swiss Defence Minister Samuel Schmid here Tuesday afternoon.

Taiwan leader Chen Shui-bian announced Monday that the "National Unification Council" shall "cease to function" and the "National Unification Guidelines" shall "cease to apply."

The smooth diplomacy machine of China pauses hardly a split second to show its open rage here. This is a top priority item with the Chinese. They aren't going to take this sitting down.

Already, the USA has tried to placate the Chinese without doing anything useful since Bush has very tangled personal financial affairs with Taiwan just like he is owned by the UAE. Asians always struggle with the concept of bribes but even in the old religions of China, one burns fake paper money at funerals to bribe the guardians at the gates of Heaven so this isn't exactly a new business over there.

The Bush clan has many business dealings with the Communist Chinese, too, for they understood well that all American Presidents are for sale. All foreign powers know that our government services the highest bidders who are, increasingly, not Americans. Since we are totally incapable of cleaning up our election systems, this is only going to get much worse. The Chinese politburo have announced they are cleaning up all the bribe takers in their government and already a host of party members have been arrested along with many intellectuals or dissidents. Obviously, everyone is preparing for a conflict and of course, America sleepwalks into all this.

In a display of anger against President Chen Shui-bian's (陳水扁) official announcement that the National Unification Council will cease to be operational, the pan-blue alliance of the Kuomintang and the People First Party has launched a presidential recall campaign.
Throwing his weight behind the proposal, KMT Chairman Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) last night formally ordered the KMT to back the recall motion.

In response to Ma's decision, Presidential spokesman Chen Wen-tsung stated that, "It would be difficult for people to imagine the opposition party involved in an active recall campaign."

Opposition parties will also demanded that Premier Su Tseng-chang and high-ranking officials issue a report on the president's decision to legislators.

Already, the rapport built up since the surprise visit last fall are paying off. The Kuomintang and the Communists are united in wanting a united China and this is a classic byzantine relationship that I can't penetrate too well. But it suffices to say, Taiwan is very divided today and many are wondering why their President chose this moment to poke China's eye.

Let's pray Condi doesn't get involved. Her monumental stupidity can only make things worse.

Industrialists in Taiwan have expanded into China to the tune of over $100 billion dollars. They don't want to see that go up in smoke. In a confrontation with China, only Taiwan can back down. If they think America will risk WWIII over this matter, they are nuts only America's dicator is as insane as Hitler so I wouldn't put it past him. Our military already let China know they consider that nation our number one enemy.

Meanwhile, Japan's Koizumi pokes China in the eye, too, over and over again. In order to entwine America thoroughly within Japan's embrace, we are relocating our military throughout the main islands. But this is not popular at all with the Japanese people. From Asahi:

It will be the first municipal referendum on issues concerning U.S. military realignment in Japan, and the outcome could affect negotiations between Japan and the United States, analysts said.

A final report by the two countries is scheduled to be compiled by the end of March.

Based on the results of the survey conducted by telephone on Feb. 25 and 26, in which 1,020 randomly chosen Iwajuni voters gave valid answers, the two governments have failed to win local support for the aircraft transfer.

The survey showed 71 percent were against the plan, while only 11 percent approved the relocation.According to the survey, 67 percent of voters plan to cast ballots in the referendum, and 77 percent said the central government should honor the results.

As usual, we will ram this down their throats because nothing enrages our dictator more than any population refusing to obey his fiats. We wonder why we are so unpopular yet we iincrease this unpopularity by using mostly our military for diplomacy. Stationing troops in Japan and Germany has been nothing but madness for many years now. This is a provocation which gets increasingly grave as time passes.

Condi is supposed to be a Russian expert but she is a fake. She personally shoved Putin into China's lap and now wonders why Putin hates us and is kissy kissy with the Chinese. So instead of China being flanked by hostile borders in the rear, China has a dear friend now as China turns and faces down the USA over the Taiwan issue.

This convoluted article is about how the name of an agency reflects its status and the Japanese just degraded their own Defence Dept. to a lower status. Like when Bush removed FEMA down a step leading to its collapse.

The Japanese have no serious plans to defend themselves, their sole plan is to use us. Indeed, this is the plan of all the Asian "allies" which is extremely dangerous since this means we are the cat's paw for a dozen groups who hate each other and often, hate us, too. We enjoy very little status with any of them. How can they respect us?

Rain of Terror---Bush's Popularity Collapses Here As Iraq Explodes

Even the dimmest witted Americans is now aware of what we antiwar bloggers have been predicting and expecting: a full blown civil war/insurrection in Iraq. Every day, our soldiers are blown up, Iraqis have been blown up, over 1,500 this last week alone, the whole place is in flames and this was due entirely to the "election" we cooked up there. Meanwhile, at home, Bush's popularity which always soared on violence, collapses as he frantically tries to make Homeland Security a joke.

In the race to get ahead economically, America's young workers are falling behind.

A new survey shows that median incomes fell for householders under 45, even as they rose for older ones, between 2001 and 2004.

Income fell 8 percent, adjusted for inflation, for those under 35 and 9 percent for those aged 35 to 44. The numbers add new weight to longstanding concerns about whether younger generations of Americans will achieve living standards that are better - or at least equal to - those of their parents.

This is the New World Order. Even as the American military causes destabilization and destruction in Muslim oil countries, the relentless push to wipe out inflation caused by Greenspan and now Bernanke's printing money like crazed monkeys to the tune of nearly a trillion a year, the economic condition of the majority of the workingclass is rapidly deteriorating.

"Productivity" is up and up but that merely means "the ability of the elite grabbing profits from workers". They are rolling in dough, enjoying huge tax cuts aimed at their incomes only and they are the 10% core of Bush's support. 20% remaining support comes from people who hate gays and women's rights. This hellish coalition also wants endless wars because they both directly benefit from it: jobs in the "defense" industry or as soldiers. One reason why there are so few unhappy Gold Star Mothers and Wives is because they get a huge bounty if their loved ones die. This money makes them very happy so their tears dry up pretty quickly except for a handful like the brave Cindy Sheehan.

Her husband seems pretty happy about his son's death. He has a nice nest egg for his new wife and can start producing more sons, happy as a lark.

This is because economics often trumps feelings. There are still significant numbers of Americans, now less than 50%, who want war because they still feel it willl make oil cheap or they are employed within the military/police state apparatus. This is why, as Iraq blows up in our faces, they want more war. War=good times for them. This is why our military isn't revolting against the obvious incompetence and even open treason exhibited by our rulers.

The UAE/portals to America dust up is a fine example. The pets of the rulers, nearly all of them, are in full bellow this week trying to convince Americans who just woke up with a start, that selling our ports to the very same people who enabled the 9/11 attacks is a good thing and we are all racists for wanting to halt it. Even as their popularity ratings on TV fall, they continue to slog onwards because they must. The owners of the media are hip deep in the military/industrial complex and their side deals make a lot of money off of American fears.

The malfeasance of the GOP is now so great, even deluded red state voters are noticing. They barely approved of the destruction of the minority community of New Orleans but that meant letting a lot of whites fall off the cliff, too. Even this doesn't bother the rulers who really don't like virtually anyone. They wanted to see all the dirt poor home owners of the Gulf coast removed further inland so the rich can turn it into their playground and get it rebuilt every few years, newer and better, thanks to government subsidies because they will make these properties "businesses" with "jobs" that are the usual "servant" type jobs so beloved by Greenspan and Bernanke who make no differenciation between industrial manufacturing and service economies.

Though the tensions were somewhat defused Sunday when the company agreed to a 45-day national security review, the problem continues to exact a steep political price from Mr. Bush, exposing divisions between the White House and Congressional Republicans in a critical election year and further weakening a president already reeling from a series of setbacks, from Hurricane Katrina to the war in Iraq.

"We've defended them on wiretaps, we've defended them on Iraq, we've defended them on so many things he's tried to accomplish, that to be left out here supporting this thing in a vacuum is kind of offensive," Representative Mark Foley, Republican of Florida, said Sunday in an interview after the company's agreement to the review was announced. He added, "If it's just about saving face and letting us humor ourselves, we won't be satisfied."

The Republican Congress has destroyed Congressional power in order to have "power". They made a deal with a devil who is death, Bush, and they wonder why he can't do the bare niceties of pretending to consult. Well, they, themselves, refused to put him or anyone under him, under oath when appearing before Congress or any investigative commission. They, themselves, cheered him wildly when he came up with the loopy "Axis of Evil" speech the second State of the Union Speech. Even when that axis was obviously demented, connecting dire enemies, Iran and Iraq into a coalition of terror? It was laughable then and there but instead of hitting him for this and wondering if he was insane, they cheered, jumping up and down.

Anyone pointing out the obvious was attacked not just by them but by the entire media. The media beat the drums of war for Bush and slimed anyone against the war. When "Farenheit 911" came out, the media refused to run ads for the movie, most of the reviews were full of lies and open hostility, when people noticed the famous tape of Bush smiling hugely and then reading merrily, "My Pet Goat" made the news thanks to the film, the owners of America had their Legions of Darkness bellow "Don't watch that movie, it is full of lies." So the vast majority of people, thanks to theater owners boycotting this film, never got to see it and when Moore offered it for free to the TV stations to run it, they united in refusing, utterly and totally. This black out of vital information is normal in our police state. To this day, not one TV station has shown the video of Bush reading that book, nor has anyone discussed it nor has Congress questioned Bush about it.

The recent shooting of a friend by Cheney has been washed over by hectoring men and women yelling, "It was an ACCIDENT!" at the top of their lungs. This methodology still works, yelling one's opinion by as many robotic similar people as possible. This is why propaganda works in most instances. Most humans want to get along, monkey see-monkey do. For example, our rulers don't want anyone to see or understand the bizarre relationship we have with Japan's economy so they yell constantly about the Chinese yuan and never ever mention the yen, not even in passing. So even smart people who are suspicious of Bush have fallen into the habit of talking only about the yuan even as the grave danger to our currency lurks in Tokyo.

Yelling can't hide the fact that Iraq is blowing up because the explosions are now too loud, too frequent, too destructinve. No more American hot shot TV personalities are going there to give upbeat reports only to be blown up. I will note here that the last corporate tool to do this is now medically brain dead vs fake brain dead. He is never mentioned, it is like 1984, he is simply dissappeared.

Indeed, our dead soldiers were dissappeared, too. By Bush fiat. When he made up the dorky rule that no one can photograph the coffins of our heroes (irritating casualties), the media didn't rise up in wrath, there weren't shouting faces on TV yelling about how disgraceful this was. Instead, dead silence. Only when someone leaked the pictures onto the internet and we bloggers carried it all over the world, did the media ask for some pictures and then showed a few but they peetered out to be replaced by pictures of happy Iraqis praising their new overlords.

There are no more pictures of happy Iraqis. Except for Sadr who I predicted, would incite and arrange terrorist attacks and who is in the process of a coup in Iraq. He is very happy. Indeed, the fact that we morphed him from "America's Most Wanted" into "America's Buddy" is all our own fault. We wanted troops to attack Sunnis and he provided them. The downgrading of the only Iraqi troops Bush claimed were reliable is a telling matter. No Iraqi military units are working for us. None. Zippo.

The civil war won't wash around our bases. It will and must directly attack us. This is because we are no longer siding with the Shi'a (Shiites), we are siding with nobody now. Except the UAE. They make tons of money off of us. They are buying up our ports. They hate us and use us and need to suck our carcass dry. And they give the Bushes bushels of money, hundreds and billions of dollars.

Arrest Bush. He is a traitor to America.

Russia And Iran Make A Nuclear Deal After China Makes Oil Deal

Iran can't be attacked. They have a great deal with Russia so the causus bellus no longer is applicable for the USA to start WWIII. China and Russia have figured out that making allies without stationing troops all over the planet pays off handsomely. Meanwhile, the USA is patrolling the entire planet at our own cost without getting tribute from anyone, only loans which are sinking our economy under a massive burden of debts.

Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Director Gholamreza Aqazadeh said on Sunday that Iran and Russia have reached an agreement in principle for the creation of a joint uranium enrichment company.

Speaking to reporters in a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergei Kiriyenko after the two inspected the Bushehr nuclear power plant currently under construction by Russian help in this southern city, Aqazadeh said that nuclear negotiations on the Russian proposal would continue over the next few days in Moscow.

He noted that the two sides are satisfied over the process of talks, adding that comprehensive talks took place in Tehran both Saturday and Sunday on the proposal.

Translation: Teheran now has a very powerful Godfather who happens to also be in the oil selling business and who is increasingly hostile to the American empire which has stupidly and willfully established military bases in former Soviet states and Warsaw pact states despite Russian warnings to lay off. So of course, Russia is very rapidly forming new alliances with all and sundry who stand against this ever encroaching empire.

Our psychotic need to control all points of the compass using troops and military attacks has gotten so far out of control we lost sight of why we are doing all of this. One of comments here on the blog by one of the wonderful readers about how their own country has "let" the USA establish a military control over their once sovereign lands reminds me about how empires destroy all sense of patriotism and sense of sovereignty not only in subject lands, and if we have military ruling over your country, you have NO sovereignty!---and how this destroys the same at home at the imperial center which leads to patriotic decay and even outright treason on the part of the imperialists who will go so far as to deliberately cause, prod or conspire to have their home base attacked so they can have further excuses for imperial domination of distant lands.

Like 9/11.

The reason America rebelled against England's domination was because they were taxed while not being allowed to vote on the taxes. Also, restrictions on slave trade were just beginning to be implimented, not to mention trade in general, America was not allowed to make or export industrial products like glass or pottery or iron works, for example. Only raw materials.

China demanded trade be done with gold which is why England set out to militarily dominate China.

Unlike the British Empire which made economic sense, for a while, for Britain, America not only doesn't tax our 100 provinces like England or Australia or Germany or even Japan. Japan does pay for the military presence but only a pittance compared to the true cost of sustaining and building and training these forces.

Japan has done a very neat trick: they "pay" us by selling us money at a nice interest rate that is higher than the rate they pay themselves which is near zero percent at home and for the USA, 4.5% and climbing. Meanwhile, to hide this every expensive military empire that costs over half a trillion dollars a year and is totally incompetent at defending Americans as we witnessed during last year's hurricane season when the National Guard was totally missing and if flown home, had no vehicles in which they could save anyone, our missing military is hidden from the average American's pocketbook via these Japanese loans.

But it is now so big, we just took up a host of former Soviet states who demand we pay them to occupy their countries! On top of that, Egypt and Israel demand an arm and a leg, too, haughtily sniffing they will be rowdy and start wars if we don't pay both tribute! 2,000 years ago, Rome took tribute from Egypt, not the other way around.

Because our province of Japan, rich and in command of our entire economy, pays zero taxes and only a pittance for our military, cannot fund the grossly oversized empire for us even in the form of loans, America's rulers have brazenly gone to a country that has ZERO American troops on their soil, no intention of ever letting any American troops on their soil, indeed, is quite hostile to America's imperial dream, we go to Communist China for loans to pay for our trade deficit with Japan and our out sized military!

To fund these loans, we had to open our ports to China who flooded them with goods. Very rapidly, nearly all American industry melted away under the onslaught. No one in China pays taxes to America, either. Instead, all other countries desiring to keep their autonomy and sovereignty are forming strong alliances with China that don't involve Chinese imperial troops. These are classic alliances, not craven surrender like England or Australia. Germany and Japan surrendered literally after WWII and both have cleverly undermined the victors to the point that both dominate America in all ways but a very few point which are rapidly dwindling. England and Australia surrendered slowly, using the Soviet Union as an excuse, pretending we were at war during peace time.

Even so, when America rushed into the former French colony of Vietnam, the Brits held back, claiming sovereignty. Australia, a closer province, joined in only to be slapped around by the American imperial propaganda machine that had to create the impression that America was the sole defender of freedom in order to con Americans into dying for the old French empire.

When we went into our latest round of imperial prancing, we had to twist many arms to do it, making business deals with our provinces that involved us paying them tribute which was a cute trick, I admit. This extravagant deal making is rapidly bankrupting America to the tune of $700 billion+ the $500 billion military spending which means we are going into the red to the tune of nearly a trillion a year.

So we get the appearance of imperial unity, using Britain as our Nepal, remember, the Nepalese were imperial troops sent all over the place as the empire was expiring. Anyway, we bribed Blair into doing this scheme by offering him a seat at Carlyle's table.

We just learned this week that Carlyle got $100 million to "invest" from the UAE the same week the UAE "gave" to the empire $100 million as a very secret gift to pay for the hurricane only there is no proof of this except for a cable transfering funds and the fact that both transactions are for exactly the same amount means places we want to have as part of our empire are openly bribing our rulers to do what they want which is to dominate America which is dying thanks to the very high cost of running this stupid empire that taxes not a single province.

No empire has tried this in the past. All worked hard at tax collecting far from home to keep the native populations quiet. When the home base was taxed to run the empire, it collapses. Witness England, for example. Up until WWI, the English were happy with their empire because it expanded lopsided trade and taxes were paid by peasants in China and India, not England.

Then the war forced taxes on England and all was not so merry. One solution the Brits used was to extend their dying empire. This is why they invaded the Middle East and tried to annex Iraq. This was another drain on the Treasury. The British couldn't buy things extravagantly anymore and trade fell apart and the world went into the Great Depression because the same fate fell upon the other two empires who fought WWI, Germany and France.

Germany tries to change this by conquering Europe and taxing them to pay for Germany's empire. This fell apart spectacularily. Especially since it involved murdering milllions of Europeans in order to run the German tax empire.

America got away with not taxing their provinces for 25 years simply because all of Europe and Asia lost their industrial base when everything was bombed during WWII. So we were the only ones and thus, didnt' need to tax the impoverished former empires of Europe and Asia.

Today, this is obviously not true. Yet we keep running our deficit ridden empire as if we don't need taxes from anyone including the American populace. Thus the gigantic deficits.

China and Russia repudiated debts several times in the past, a necessary action for any empire. They rebuilt themselves after millions of deaths from starvation and privation and are now growing strong again. When they sign treaties and contracts, they are very cautious about taking on military extentions. They want trade and influence, not military drains.

Because of this caution, they are succeeding at growing in power even as America sinks under increasing loads, losing our grip on everything even as we grab at everything. Iran, in forming an alliance with these rivals, is now too strong for Europe or America to attack. This doesn't mean there will be no war.

For the Israelis will attack. They need war and since they tax America for their support, not the other way around, they can haul us into war, having powerful allies running many aspects of our government. If they decide, unilaterally, to bomb Iran, this can start WWIII because America is too bankrupt to force a diplomatic solution upon Israel.

The fact that our rulers have contrary-wise alliances, most of which are top secret, with Israel's nominal enemies, is a real problem. For one of the classic explanations of why WWI happened so rapidly was "secret alliances and treaties with many parties" business. Namely, when the first bullet was shot, everyone had to rapidly decide which secret backstabbing treaty they wanted to enforce or reveal. It was an interesting diplomatic trainwreck that killed millions of people.

China Cements Alliance With Iran and The Palestinians Demand The UN Censor Israel

China finally picks up Iran and walks away with it and its oil. Big loss for Europe thanks to the Europeans working for Israel and Bush. The Mayor of London is punished for comparing the vicious neo-Warsaw Ghetto Israeli Defence Forces to "Nazis" even though they are acting like Nazis, and Abbas demands the UN censor Israel for the zillionth time but Bolton, worried more about sex, will veto punishing Israel. And Iraq is in full flames now, our soldiers being blown up daily, little mention in the press.

Iran and China pledged on Saturday to promote the development of bilateral relations in all fields.

During his talks with visiting Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Lu Guozeng, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad commended China's achievements in its social construction and said that bilateral relations have undergone smooth development in recent years.

Iran views China as a friend and cooperation partner and hopes to strengthen its cooperation with China in all fields, Ahmadinejad said.

End game. When playing the ancient Asian strategy game, "Go", this is the equivalent of making an "eye" which means, with the fewest stones possible, you make an unassailable territory that is yours for the rest of the game.

Meaning, we can't take it away from China. If we made friends with the Iranians, it could have been ours, but since we always meddled violently with them, trying to be the British Empire, they hate us. The Chinese have never invaded or overturned their government so they are reaping a fine harvest.

We have to let go of the Middle East. Back when Europe kept beating their brains over holding Jerusalem, after five crusades, they just gave up and the Muslim tide swept back over the place, as expected. This is because the crusaders decided to go on looting expeditions to Egypt which led to defeat and Constantinople, which was an ally.

Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas called for international pressure to rein in Israel after its acting premier vowed to press on with a campaign of attacks against militant groups.

Following the killing of five Palestinians during an Israeli army operation in the West Bank city of Nablus on Thursday, Israeli troops shot dead two more Palestinians in the Gaza Strip overnight.

Right after 9/11, Americans figured out we were not going to be happy unless we did something about the festering mess in the Holy Land. So Bush trotted off to the UN and said he was going to back the creation of a Palestinian state.

This set the Zionists into an uproar and they began a deadly campaign to build the Neuer Warsaw Ghetto. This bloody campaign was started by them mowing down the Jennin refugee camp, killing anyone who couldn't flee, literally bulldozing their homes on top of the elderly and disabled.

This outrage ticked off much of the Muslim world which couldn't stop this process since so many rulers of Muslims are traitors to their own people and run their countries for their own benefit. So the Muslim populace had to eat dust. Well, now they are making us eat dust and we don't like it but the ruthless campaign to destroy the Muslims living in territories the Zionists want, continues ruthlessly even though this means American interests are being utterly destroyed in all the important oil pumping countries.

The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said Saturday that the world body is hobbled "by bad management, by sex and corruption" and a lack of confidence in its ability to carry out missions.

John Bolton also criticized the U.N.'s budget, noting that two-thirds of members pay only 20 percent of the cost.

"We find an organization that is deeply troubled by bad management, by sex and corruption and by a growing lack of confidence in its ability to carry out missions that are given to them," Bolton told an audience at a Columbia Law School symposium held by the Federalist Society, a conservative law organization.

It is amazing that the world's poorest nations still pay 20% of the costs of the UN.

On the other hand, we will soon join them, won't we? Right now, we can veto every UN sanction against Israel, a very costly affair, I wonder why the right wingers Bolton is talking to aren't pissed about that? Since we bankroll the nearly useless UN we get away with using it to shove nations around and do pretty much as we please. We have bases in all but a dozen countries outside of Africa which we are ignoring right now except the Chinese are moving swiftly there, oh, oh! We have 400 military bases overseas while closing many of them here at home. All this hideously expensive stuff is so our empire can protect the British Empire like Australia, India, Kenya, South Africa, England, Taiwan, etc. Hanging on to this very expensive empire is bankrupting us, of course, especially since we decided to take over the entire RUSSIAN empire, too! Glub, glub.

The hornet's nest in Iraq which was a former British colony, is killing us. Egypt, another British colony, costs us a lot and we are seeing increasing hate there, they really hate us and the place seethes with insurrection not to mention Iran and Saudi Arabia, our twin rocks like in Odysseus's tales.

Note that the Chinese have not opened a single military base anywhere but they are picking off former British colonies, they having been one, once, themselves!

Well-paid armed guards would be on patrol and sensors would test the air for lethal gases.

OK, we are officially insane. Way back when, in hysteria, we screamed we will rebuild the WTC which was a disaster waiting to happen, my ex husband worked there as well as many of our friends! We hated the building. I was in there a zillion times, it always creeped me out, it was so big and yet felt fragile, even way back in the seventies!

Now they are going to run businesses there that have a huge barrier, bigger than the Pentagon! To entry? Namely, everyone has to be cleared via elaborate, intrusive ID measures? As if bin Laden were going to go personally? Huh? Besides, the building were attacked from the outside, not inside!

Back after 9/11, we suggested, us lefties, that the site be a public park and memorial. Nothing built there, the two footprints of the basements of the buildings, a twin ponds with trees and monuments to the thousands who died there. But NOOOO. They had to do the whole big, fat imperialist thing and build a big honking building there "to show we are not afraid" only we are terrified so we will surround it with guards and barbed wire. No business will locate there. The Port Authority workers who lost so many because they were stuck on the highest floors which is where the offices were stuck, died on 9/11, imagine working there in the future and besides, who will visit to do business?

Meanwhile, bat crazy right wing kids attack their school's "Peace" class because it isn't warmongering enough. From the WP:

Saraf and Avishek Panth, also 17, acknowledge that with the exception of one lecture they sat in on this month, most of what they know about the course has come from friends and acquaintances who have taken the class. But, they said, those discussions, coupled with research they have done on McCarthy's background, have convinced them that their school should not continue to offer Peace Studies unless significant changes are made. This is not an ideological debate, they said. Rather, what bothers them the most is that McCarthy offers students only one perspective.

"I do recognize that it is a fairly popular class," Saraf said. "But it's clear that the teacher is only giving one side of the story. He's only offering facts that fit his point of view."

For his part, McCarthy, 67, finds the students' objections a bit puzzling. He said that although the two sat in on a recent class, they have not talked to him in depth about their concerns.

"I've never said my views are right and theirs are wrong," he said about the students who take his course. "In fact, I cherish conservative dissenters. I wish we could get more of them in."

I hope the two lads demanding this course be changed get to go to Iraq next year and find out, first hand, what their war-hell is really like.

Iraq's defense minister warned on Saturday of a "civil war" that "will never end" and said he was ready to put tanks on the streets as sectarian violence flared despite a second day of curfew in Baghdad.

Extending a traffic ban in the capital to Monday after battles around Sunni mosques and a car bomb in a holy Shi'ite city, leaders scrambled to break a round of reprisals sparked by a suspected al Qaeda bombing of a Shi'ite shrine on Wednesday.

The gravest crisis since the U.S. invasion in 2003 threatens Washington's hopes of withdrawing its 136,000 troops from Iraq.

"If there is a civil war in this country it will never end," Defense Minister Saadoun al-Dulaimi, a minority Sunni Muslim in the Shi'ite-led interim government, told a news conference.

Oh, it will end...when America goes bankrupt which is a 100% certainty at this point since we are hemorraging over $2 billion a week thanks to Iraq!

Meanwhile, the prison riot in Afghanistan continues unabated. From the BBC:

Inmates have taken control of a wing of Afghanistan's main high-security jail, Pul-e-Charkhi in Kabul, officials say.
Sources have told the BBC four inmates have been killed, although top Afghan officials have denied any deaths.

The violence apparently began as an escape attempt in a section holding Taleban and al-Qaeda militants as well as ordinary criminals.

Make no mistake, these prison breakouts will grow vastly because these prisons are our empire's nastiest face and the ones in Muslim lands are the worst, all Gitmos all the time. I fully expect Saddam to be sprung pretty soon now that the country is entirely in flames.

The Cole attackers escaped from their prison and it wasn't hard, either, for them. The Quisiling ruler of Afghanistan is terrified of his prisoners and he knows they will literally play football with his head when they get finished with the Americans after the American empire collapses just like the Soviet Empire and due to the same reasons, no less. I am betting on Pakistan's ruler flying out on one of his fancy, new American fighter jets sometime in the near future because there is only so long one can hold onto a subject population.

The British thought they had the perfect empire, hardly needed any troops to hold down until WWI and then WWII disabused them of this notion. One reason the Japanese were so easily triumphant in many places was due to the fact the natives greeted them with rejoicing only to find they were as nasty or worse than the Brits so the natives turned to communists for help.

Ah, remember those days! Communism went bankrupt. Just like we are going.

The UAE Sheiks Gave Bush Sr. $1 Million Gift In 1995

Even as the pundits across America got the message and are now in full bellow screaming at us that the UAE Sheiks are our very best friends and we are racists for doubting this and it is a small matter, selling off our ports to the highest nonAmerican bidders, we find out these same critters secretly gave Bush a million dollars, no names attached which means Bush Sr. actively conspired with them to hide their nasty bribes.

The United Arab Emirates has long-standing ties to the Bush family. Records show the UAE and one of its sheikhs contributed at least $1 million before 1995 to the Bush Library Foundation, which established the George Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas. The executive chairman of Dubai Ports World, Ahmed bin Sulayem, is not listed among donors.

They have long standing ties with the Bushes? Well, ditto in spades with the bin Ladens! So, the UAE royals hung out with bin Laden in Afghanistan to go bustard hunting (without Cheney, they aren't suicidal!) and then the USA is attacked by bin Laden and all these people are very friendly with the Bush family and exchange huge sums of money with them and make cozy super secret business deals, no wonder Bush W sat there and smiled as he read "My Pet Goat"!

Someday we might even know how much the UAE paid him to sit there.

The U.S. government the money it received from the United Arab Emirates was nearly four times as much as it received from all other countries combined. Other nations, including some in the Middle East, also pledged large contributions but have not yet sent the money.

The money from the UAE was previously described by the State Department only as a "very large" contribution. The White House said so far it has received $126 million in international donations, including the UAE money.

Robert Kimmitt, deputy secretary at the Treasury Department, told senators Thursday that Dubai Ports World first approached U.S. officials Oct. 17 to discuss a proposed purchase of London-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co., which runs significant operations at six large U.S. ports.

Kimmitt said the company informally approached Treasury officials to discuss preliminary stages of the purchase. A formal review of the proposed sale started on Dec. 16, Kimmitt told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

The United Arab Emirates sent its $100 million Katrina donation on Sept. 21 using an electronic transfer to an account at the State Department, the White House said. Two-thirds of the money was given to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help coordinate aid to 100,000 families. The rest was sent to the Education Department to help rebuild storm-damaged schools and universities near New Orleans.

OK, since when has the State Department been in charge of financing? Aside from the total stupidity of us begging for alms after storms, serioiusly, we are supposed to be the "richest country on earth" and we absorb 80% of all world financing, don't we? And we needed alms? How do we know this money was distributed properly? After all, it was all super secret!

And of course, the sly foreign royals (what WAS that revolution about, anyway, George Washington?) said nothing and the sly Bushes said nothing but then they suddenly had a fine tit for tat and lo, the super secret, silent deal was made to hand over our ports!

So we lose New Orleans and in return for alms, give away the Port of New York? Huh? The Presidential libraries are all just so much corruption, I remember the right wingers screaming about funds flowing into the Clinton Library and now these same clowns are silent about the latest revelations about the Bush corruption. When Jr had to get bailed out of one of his losing oil drilling ventures, he was rescued by a foreign entity which, to this day, remains unnamed but you can bet this individual has been on close speaking terms with bin Laden!

So, when Bush was told, "Bin Laden Determined To Strike In the USA" he probably checked the bank account and then laughed when someone suggested he short the United Airlines and American Airlines stock, too. I don't know but at this point, it wouldn't surprise me, after all, 9/11 was, for Bush, "winning the Trifecta".

Ie, it made him a lot richer.

Consider the Carlyle Group, the huge, politically wired private equity firm that has employed both the president and his father -- and from which the members of the Bush family and their closest associates, such as former Secretary of State James Baker III, have profited handsomely in recent years. With its sole Middle East office headquartered in Dubai, Carlyle has managed to attract substantial funding from the UAE government, which controls most of the tiny nation's oil wealth and channels that money into foreign investments.

Last year, to cite only the most recent example, Carlyle's newest buyout fund won an infusion of at least $100 million from the Dubai Investment Corp. -- another state-owned outfit created by the ruling families to reinvest the enormous inflows of capital from rising oil prices and oil consumption. If that individual deal with Carlyle represented only a small fraction of the Emirates' investments, the upside potential of the relationship could be far greater in the future. The directors of Dubai Investment expect to invest as much as $5 billion every year for a long time to come.

Did they throw around $200 million last fall? Or is this the same $100 million? It wouldn't surprise me if this sum which is odd since it is the same amount and in the same timeframe, was juggled in and out of the vast sums Congress voted for hurricane aid.

Condi Rice's Winter Wonderland Tour of Middle East Ends At UAE Where She Kisses Up To Our Real Masters

This is an interesting article about Condi's recent insane trip which ended with her kow towing to the UAE and begging for more bones from the same people behind 9/11, all I can say is, we are doomed if Americans think this is all OK. Also, her failure to get these same people to attack the Palestinians is funny considering she had her hand out for bribes and goodies at the same time! Poor Israel. They depended on her to be "tough" with the Muslims. All bark and no bite.

When Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice made a high-profile tour of Egypt and Saudi Arabia last June, she confronted those governments about opening up their political systems. Revisiting both countries this week, however, her call for greater democracy appeared more muted, as some of the aftershocks of the democracy push have given autocratic governments more leverage in their dealings with the United States.

The Bush administration had advocated legislative elections in the Palestinian territories as a way to reinvigorate Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, but the move resulted in a sweeping victory last month by the radical Islamic group Hamas. Now, in order to restore hopes for reviving stalled peace talks, the United States needs the help of Egyptian and Saudi leaders to press Hamas to moderate its unyielding demand for Israel's destruction.

Isn't it an odd coincidence, *NOT* that al Qaeda (al Quida) attacks Saudi Arabia's biggest oil refinery the same time frame Condi is in the UAE?

Other foreign policy goals on Rice's agenda this week -- such as seeking agreement to confront Iran over its nuclear program and enlisting Arab support for the new Iraqi government as bloody sectarian violence erupted -- also appeared to overshadow the administration's democracy campaign.

Again and again, we can't go around the world making "deals" and doing "diplomacy" when we are really beggars at the doors of the wealthy. Tin cup in hand, Condi trolls about the joint, "Spare a dime, kind sir?" she wails. Of course, when in Israel, they have her turn out her pockets and dump much of it into their hands. They need the money but can't beg their neighbors for it and you can be certain, they don't beg here, either, they demand money and get it since they use a percentage of what they gain to bribe the givers, our "elected leaders" who love this circular gravy train.

Egypt doesn't have to do this, they have another tool: let Egypt fall apart and a 100 million Attas will go bezerk. Already, we have 20 million Atta clones going bezerk in Iraq. We want our real rulers in the Middle East to save us from them only they can't because their own countries seethe with Atta clones literally dying to take them down, too!

In Cairo, Rice met with Egypt's intelligence chief, Omar Suleiman, for nearly two hours, seeking his insights on Hamas. The session with Suleiman was longer than a lively meeting Rice held with democracy activists. They urged the United States to put more pressure on Egypt before President Hosni Mubarak succeeds in crippling moderate, secular groups.

You know, on 9/11, the head of Pakistan's secret service was in DC, meeting with top officials, they were going to have lunch together.

Argh. This is beyond annoying. If Condi wants to understand Hamas, she can call me any time. I will be happy to explain to her what is going on in Palestine and I know virtually nothing but what I do know is 1000 times more than what that stupid woman knows. I will even happily explain to her how terrorism works, not that she wants to understand what "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the USA" means. Why isn't this traitor in prison? Huh?

Secularists in Egypt are being attacked by Mubarrak and by the Muslim Brotherhood and the Brotherhood is happy to have martyrs and they are rejoicing in the crushing of liberals all over the Middle East, all of this triggered by America's need to cosset dictators who oppress their people so we can loot the oil and steal land from Palestinian peasants.

Since all rulers hate all peasants, this means we are unified with them in our disgusting actions.

In Saudi Arabia, a female journalist, dressed head to toe in a black abaya , demanded: "How is it possible to harmonize the U.S. position as a nation supporting freedom of expression and the right of people to practice democracy with your effort to curb the will of Hamas?"

Egyptian Television's Mervat Mohsen also rattled off a series of tough questions. "American calls for democracy have unwittingly brought unprecedented support for the Muslim Brotherhood, but you're not happy with the Muslim Brotherhood in power," he said. "Is this some kind of designer's democracy then, Dr. Rice?"

They can see the insanity. They know the push for "democracy" is totally fake. They are in agony, trying to stop this madness but they don't control their own rulers and they don't control us. And we don't control our rulers, note how little Bush cares about our feelings. He knows our elections are fake, he and his buddies know the electronic voting machines are permanently set to redo the votes eternally in their favor, all they have to do is win by 1 vote! And trust me, all our future elections will end this way. One person=one vote for the GOP.

Jeb Bush, Host To Atta And Co, Wants Us To Trust The Bushes When It Comes To Terrorists

After letting or enabling an entire nest of terrorists to train for and arrange a massive attack on NYC and DC, Jeb Bush thinks we should trust him and his brother to protect us from terrorists and to let the UAE run our major ports.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey argued in court papers that Dubai Ports World was violating its lease by not getting consent for its pending acquisition of the current port operator, London-based Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co.

New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, who is also suing over the sale, urged other governors to join the case.

Governors of Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania have expressed concerns about the takeover; Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has said he trusts his brother the president on such security issues.

Good farking grief. We always come back to where the 9/11 conspiracy was hatched: in Florida, right outside the major Bush/CIA island compound in Florida. Aside from the fact that this conspiracy was run in Jeb's state, it was run in the one place in America that has more CIA agent's second or retirement homes in America. The place crawls with CIA and other spook agents! The same day Atta and Company were making their final plans, the town they were in, Sarasota, Florida, was crawling with Secret Service agents and the Bush clan.

Why was Bush in a school in that city when Atta attacked America? Hmmm?????

Now Jeb tells us to trust these two creeps, J and W, to protect us even as they pry open America's front door to the same entities that attacked us. Already, they and their malicious buddies are hard at work, cranking the propaganda machine to convince us we should sell ourselves to our tormentors. Astonishingly, the GOP has decided to call us "racist" for yelling about this matter.

So, they were racist when they pulled the Chinese oil deal over Unocal?

Revealing that only the UAE gave us $100 million "for Katrina" which was really a bribe for Bush, this again, astonished me. Are we so stupid as to accecpt bribes from our attackers? Then I remember the Bushes took money from Hitler AFTER Hitler declared war on America! This family seriously has no shame.

Bush Press Secretary Scott McClellan said: "We believe once Congress has a better understanding of the facts and the safeguards that are in place that they will be more comfortable with the transaction moving forward. So, a slight delay would be helpful in that regard."

It is a "done deal" as far as the Bushes are concerned. They don't care if 74% of Americans polled on this matter are furious about it. They figure their bellowing pundits on TV will drive us all into accepting this deal and if we don't accept it, they will jam it down our throats anyway since this benefits Bush and his traitorous cronies, financially.

Will red state America finally figure out Bush and his gang hate them? Don't give a fig about them? Lie to them? Looks like that is happening more and more. Of course, on this journey to imperial hell, we have few allies in government in either party and nearly none in the media. For America has sold its soul to traitors so we could spend like fiends and run up a gigantic, historic tab with foreign powers. This insanity is called "free trade" and the deal was, we get everything "for free" in exchange for a mountain of IOUs.

This port deal is part of the exchange. One that leaves our belly exposed. Dominant dogs force lesser ones to roll over and expose the belly to their teeth. Then the dominant dog gets to decide if they want to rip out the belly or no. This is a bad position for America. Imagine if GERMANY ran our major ports in 1941.

Rumsfeld's Sole Target On 9/11 Was Saddam

When the first and second hijacked jets which the Pentagon knew were hijacked half an hour earlier, plowed into the WTC buildings, as people died, as secretaries plunged to their deaths, as all of America was screaming, Rumsfeld was unimpressed and paid not a whit of attention and only after the third jet hit near his office did he waken from his criminal, self imposed stupor. Then a mere three hours later, he was excitedly deliberately plotting to attack a totally innocent country!

On July 23, 2005, I submitted an electronic Freedom of Information Act request to the Department of Defense seeking DoD staffer Stephen Cambone's notes from meetings with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on the afternoon of September 11, 2001. Cambone's notes were cited heavily in the 9/11 Commission Report's reconstruction of the day's events. On February 10, 2006, I received a response from the DoD which includes partially-redacted copies of Cambone's notes. The documents can be viewed as a photo set on Flickr.

The released notes document Donald Rumsfeld's 2:40 PM instructions to General Myers to find the "[b]est info fast . . . judge whether good enough [to] hit S.H. [Saddam Hussein] at same time - not only UBL [Usama Bin Laden]" (as discussed on p. 334-335 of the 9/11 Commission Report and in Bob Woodward's Plan of Attack).

This confirms what we all suspected. We all, us lefties who never bought the "Bush and his drunken chickenhawk gang will protect America" garbage the rest of the nation ate, knew from day 2 that Rummy wanted to knock Saddam down but even we didn't think he would be so openly craven and evil as to plot doing this only a few hours after the attacks which means he planned to do this when an attack succeeded which explains his lassitude earlier in the day when the first two jets were reported hijacked and he did absolutely nothing at all and even after the dimmest witted fool in America knew we were under attack when the second jet hit the WTC complex, he is the only person aside from Bush to pay absolutely no attention at all. So arrest Rumsfeld and feed him to the Hague or better, waterboard him at Gitmo.

Here are the document proving he wanted only to find an excuse to hit Saddam. Also, it is curious that he knew at 2pm that bin Laden was involved since at that point, there was no proof.

On March 25, 2003, President Bush signed Executive Order 13292, a hitherto little known document that grants the greatest expansion of the power of the vice president in American history. The order gives the vice president the same ability to classify intelligence as the president. By controlling classification, the vice president can in effect control intelligence and, through that, foreign policy.

Bush operates on the radical notion of the "unitary executive," that the president has inherent and limitless powers in his role as commander in chief, above the system of checks and balances. By his extraordinary order, he elevated Cheney to his level, an acknowledgment that the vice president was already the de facto executive in national security. Never before has any president diminished and divided his power in this manner. Now the unitary executive inherently includes the unitary vice president.

The President can't sign away Constitutional powers. The fact that our Supreme Court is hardly better than the courts in Nazi Germany means no one can raise these issues and cetainly the corrupt, craven and illegally seated (due to voter fraud like the five Congressmen who got 18181 vote totals!) politicians have done nothing to protect the tripartate division of power.

All this is directly connected to the increasingly criminal operations going on, the illegal spying, the illegal harrassment of official whistleblowers, the outing of CIA covert agents for personal political gain, signing secret contracts and codices like the sale of our ports to a hostile country, the United Arab Emerites, contracts Congress has no say in according to the new Nazi Heimat laws, all these things stink.

Hearing now that the UAE "gave" us $100 million for the Katrina mess enrages me. Not a penny of this was needed, this is a rank bribe. The fact that no nation gave even a tenth of that amount proves it was a bribe to our government which is running in the red due to illegal tax cuts foisted on us by an illegally installed ruler!

All that money simply displaced a few drops of red ink. No one directly benefitted from it except Bush. The fact they closed some very lucrative deals after the palm-off, selling out working ports for one defunct city, New Orleans. Talk about treason.

Right now, Congress is "delaying" the sale of our precious assets to give Bush time to "sell" us the idea that losing control of our nation is good for America because the new rulers will occassionally hand out alms! Great. Some empire.

Some country. Die for America! Your local Sheik wants you.

Battles Rage In Afghanistan--Taliban Resurgence

Using the same methods the Iranians used to topple the Shah, the Taliban have regrouped and are now using CDs to spread information and rouse their troops who fight in classic mountain/desert tribal warfare which is to hit and run over and over again, melting away into nothingness only to strike again.

Government officials in Kabul say well-armed fighters cross regularly from next-door Pakistan, but admit they can do little to stop them.

In remote areas, more than $5,000 (£2,865) in bounty money has been offered to local men to kill senior government workers, one administrator said.

"It is big money. It is al-Qaeda money and it is from the Gulf," he said, referring to Arab supporters of al-Qaeda.

Well, what do we expect? Condi Rice has been twisting Muslim arms hard trying to get them to OK the imprisonment and torture of the Palestinians who just had a real election that was fairer than our elections which has no sane voting mechanism, mostly hijacked electronic machines that fake the tallies on behalf of the dictator's party, the GOP.

The "Top Hits Of the Al Qaeda Trio (the band with infinite number threes!)" is rather popular in Muslim countries. Produced by mountain tribes under American rockets and bombs, they mock America and sing religious songs, it is Muslim Rap.

The films are used to terrorise opponents and recruit new fighters, or sent abroad to help raise money.

Their commentaries are often in Arabic, over a soundtrack of religious singing.

Their producers appear keen to make an explicit link between the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

You don't say! What a surprise! Can't say we on the peacenik front didn't warn everyone. "Hearts and minds" aren't won by "shock and awe." Studies of the bombings in Europe and Asia during WWII showed defiance and anger resulted from bombing civilians. So why did we think it would be different this time around? It didn't work in Nam!

Condi's Shock and Barf trip has sown the wind and is reaping a whirlwind. From Haaretz:

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday criticized Israel's use of economic sanctions against Palestinians for voting Hamas into power and defended Ankara's decision to hold talks with the militant group.

The decision to host a five-man Hamas delegation last week infuriated Israel, which has close trade and security ties with Muslim but secular Turkey.

So of course, Condi had to slap the Turks which worked wonders, didn't it? Then there is this: From Al

Saudi Arabia has deepened a US-Arab split over Palestinian aid, joining Egypt in rejecting Washington's appeal to deny assistance to the new Hamas-led government.

Saudi Arabia, one of the biggest donors to the Palestinians, warned against the US position of stopping aid before seeing what policies the anti-Israel group adopts in government.

Today, al Qaeda did another, very dangerous strike on Saudi Arabia, one that would literally shake the world, namely, blowing up the world's most important oil refinery/oil field. The Saudi rulers know they are skating on thin ice and just fell doing the triple Axis and now have to regroup and prove them selves to be the leaders of Isalm and not the dogs of the Americans.

It is only a matter of time before al Qaeda takes over Saudi Arabia, seriously, there is no other ending to this tale of woe and begone.

Our attempts at spreading "liberalism" which our government hates with a vicious passion here at home, using guns to blungeon freedom and democracy into a people who desperately want both so they can kick their Quisling overlords to the curb is all part of our insane attempt at covering up our own crimes, namely, our need to steal all world resources and pay for them with money that isn't really worth much of anything since we are running in the red on all possible levels. To keep this scam going, we need to force people to buy oil using our dollars.

And Iran is kicking us in the shins on this matter which is why Israel and the USA and Britain are co-conspiring to attack Iran no matter what even though Iraq is blowing up in our faces, the entire country locked down as we desperately figure out how to stop the wild jihads there and does anyone notice the Saddam trial has stopped?

I wonder if Bush and Cheney are out quail hunting with him, asking for forgiveness, demanding he take over again.

COUP ATTEMPT IN PHILIPPINES!

A state of emergency is in force across the Philippines after the army said it had foiled a coup to topple President Gloria Arroyo.
On the eve of the 20th anniversary of the uprising which ousted President Marcos, the BBC News website spoke to people in Manila to get their reaction to the day's events.

The news is pouring in today, can't keep up. As I expected, the fake American excuse for waging an illegal war is reverberating across the planet. We aren't fighting for democracy or freedom, we just want oil and because we have to fake it, this means we lose our freedoms at home, everyone is losing their freedom abroad, fascism and militarism is on the march, the God of War is coming, March is his month, his magic moment because it is spring and this is when wars rage for victory must be won by September! This is why the Romans gave the month of springtime to the bloody embrace of the god of war.

In most countries, the military exists to supress peasant rebellions and to prop up despots. America's own democracy is dying on the vine because we have handed over everything to the secruity/police/military state to "protect" us and they will, with a vengence, alas.

For they can exist only in slave states. Enslaving the populace to feed them and to join them in bloody adventures. Lures of spoils and power overwhelm military minds, the lust for blood inevitably leads to lust for sex and money, this is what has propelled human history for millenia, since the first stone was affixed to the first branch, we killed each other and we killed off any close relations which is why there are virtually none of those left, only the gorillas and chimps hidden on high mountains or deep jungles escaped our bloody campaigns.

Thanks to everyone embracing fascism, we are now heading into a massive world war. The only freedom that will exist in this coming crisis will be the freedom to slay.

SAUDI OIL REFINERY BATTLE RIGHT NOW!

From the BBC News: an attempt to blow up the world's biggest oil refinery seems to have been foiled, maybe, news still developing. Shots and explosions heard.

From the BBC:

An explosion and shots have been heard at a major oil refinery at Buqaiq in eastern Saudi Arabia, reports say.
The Saudi authorities have said they foiled an attempt to bomb the refinery with two vehicles packed with explosives, al-Arabiya TV reported.

The militant group al-Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula has long called for attacks on Saudi oil installations.

Around two-thirds of the Gulf kingdom's oil is processed at the huge facility at Buqaiq before being exported.

World oil pices will shoot up today if not blow up. Stock markets which are entirely dependent on the price of oil will fall drastically.

All around, very bad news. Condi Rice's witch missions are bearing bitter fruits, aren't they? And our wars in the region are simply lighting more and more fires, the al Qaeda people are getting much better at using explosives and battle tactics, we are teaching them ourselves, in Iraq!

Talk about insane.
